Raiden had woken up to a rather marvelous day. With the sun shining and the temperature rising, his feathers had all just grown in from a previous molting and he felt better than ever. Woodhaven was buzzing with activity as per usual and he found himself helping a few of his acquaintances out with cleaning their tree hollows and building more ways throughout the trees. Life was good and he was loving every second of it. Nothing could bring the little fellow down and because of that, his loud, sweet melodies could be heard all around him. It was hard to stop a happy songbird from singing about things, especially when the weather was so nice! The western forest was simply thriving with life.
The songbird had been planning to go to Mossflower for quite a while, having not been acquainted to many of his fellow creatures. He had a constant need to be wandering and finding new thoughts, though Raiden barely understood why. Wanderlust just ran in his blood and it was almost impossible to ebb the flow of ideas for adventures that ran through his mind. And so he set off, fluttering his little wings the short distance to Mossflower.
The whole place seemed more alive than he'd ever seen Woodhaven - many creatures had obviously gathered there to share the joyous day. Raiden gently fluttered to the ground just near a shop that was made in a tangle of large tree roots. The greatest thing about Mossflower was that everyone was at peace in a content merging of different traditions found throughout their clans. And so, toddling on the ground, he went in search of another to talk to.

Tokee, the little song bird, had woken up very early this morning. For what reason? He had heard something, something that he had never heard before, and like the curious boy he was, he had flown off to search for the sound. Although he never found what had made the mysterious sound, he had found lots of other things. Like bugs to eat, seeds, the usual stuff. He figured sense he had already been up for an hour or two, to just stay up, and he flew back to common grounds.
Though he was perfectly able to help others clean out there borrows, many didn't want him too. Because well, he has been known to be a bit of a clutz. Surely, he didn't consider it to be extreme, but.... Well, others did.
So, he flew down to join the people below, it seemed to be a party down here and he wanted to hear what there was to be told. He stumbled as he landed and knocked into yet another Song bird. He quickly looked at the other and tried to straighten up, " I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." His voice seemed very apologetic but he held his body up proudly. It was a thing of his... He hated to look like he had done something wrong.

Moosh, the little survivor of the sands woke up this hot day when it got to hot to be able to sleep. He walked out his den, and saw the big burning sun in the sky heating up all the sand around him. He knew that he had to drink some water before he got dehydrated by all the heat. Even tho he could handle the heat, he needed an special amount of water to be able to survive.
He walked to the closest drinking well, drank some water. It was so refreshing he felt a burst of energy rushing trough his body. With all this energy he finally felt it was time to visit the area Mossflower. It was a long time ago Moosh saw other animals and he knew that in Mossflower there is always a lot of different animals gathering and sharing stories and so on.
After a long time he finally arrived at Mossflower. It was overwhelming for him to see so many animals, he had to rest so he found a little pile of hay and sat on it to gather some energy. As he sat there and watched everyone around him, he noticed that there weren't many people from his clan in this part of the woods. He sat there wondering what the other animals would think of him because he was from hallowmarl.

A sudden weight pushed into Raiden, surprising him and knocking him sideways a bit. If anything, he hadn't been expecting that! He quickly stood up, ruffling his light yellow feathers and turning to see who had accidentally bumped into him. A smile appeared on his face rather quickly, though, as he noticed that it was a fellow bird. A bright blue one that he thought he'd seen around Woodhaven before, even. Had he? Raiden didn't want to make a fool out of himself for asking, but it seemed appropriate in this situation. "It's fine! No harm done to either of us. I think I've seen you around Woodhaven before, right? I never did catch you name!"
A bit of movement over on a hay pile near to the two caused his head to whip around, the smile slowly fading off his face as he concentrated. A mouse that was colored like the sand had sat down and turned to watch everything going on, something that Raiden found himself commonly doing. Looking directly at the little fellow and not wanting to just call him 'mouse' as he found it rude when others just yelled 'bird', he quickly let out a whistle to hopefully gain his attention. "Care to join us?" A smile was back on his face, trying to be open and friendly like he usually was. Mice were rather fun to speak to, though some could be too timid to befriend at first.

Tokee smiled a bit, seeing that this bird was so friendly. It was nice, to meet another bird like him, though this one was just about as yellow as the sun it seemed. And now that he recalled back, yes, they might have run into each other a few times before as well. He tilted his head as he thought, then slowly nodded and chirped, "I do think we have met before, I live here. I'm Tokee. What's your name?"
He turned his head towards the mouse, letting out another Chirp as the bird invited the mouse over. Mice were fun to play with because they weren't very vicious looking, and they couldn't fly, but they were quick little things. Very fun to play with, he didn't mind the other a bit, though he didn't say anything yet. He wasn't sure if the mouse would feel the same way about two birds, maybe he would left out?

Fur rustled in a rythmic dance as the wind brushed her body. Ears twitched at the slight, hitch-chirped sound. What is that? Her waking mind turned its wheels slowly. She was waking, so thinking would be slow for her today. Again, the sound reached her long, stretched out ears. When the wind blew in the other direction, her eyes fluttered open from her nap. It was bright out from what she could see.
"Oh, great... It's in the middle of the day." She muttered, shielding her eyes from the bright sunlight with her white wings. Her eyes stung from the brightness, being that she was a bat. And bats were nocturnal. She didn't like being out in the sun any more than... well... a bat. Why did I wake up so early in the day?
Hearing the high-pitched sound again she slowly picked her little body up off the dirt. Her white fur was mattered with little dirt pieces on her side where she had been laying. What an unusual bat, laying on the ground instead of upside down somewhere. I wonder what that sound is. Quickly, her body shivered off most the dirt. Little clumps still lingered under her white fur. Flapping her arms, she lifted into the air. The en-stretched out skin between her fingers gave her the lift and ability to fly.
Soundlessly, she flapped her way over to where the two songbirds were. Perching tree branch nearby, she gripped a hold of the bark with her feet and swung herself upside down. "Good... morning, birdfaces."

Moosh answered directly the the yellow bird. Sure why not, its not like i got anything else to do. He stood up and walked towards the two birds. Looking at both of them he noticed that the yellow one had blue eyes but the blue one did not have yellow eyes. Now this confused him a lot. I hope you two will walk now that im with you cause you know a mouse cant fly.
Moosh were thinking at the same time, are these people going to fool me? is this some kind of trick. These birds are from another clan, i can smell it! Well lets play along and see if they are trying to trick me or something like that.
Then Moosh noticed that there was something up there in the tree, it was a bat. Yo flying Mouse hows life? he yelled seeing as a bat is a flying mouse according to Moosh.

Qwop seemed to have been insulted by his comment towards her because she fluttered down in front of Moosh. "Mouse? Oh, I'm not a mouse!" Her ears dropped behind her head and her chest puffed out. Wings stretched out to the sides of her tiny body, the extra length gave her the larger look. She seemed like she was trying to look intimidating to him and reconsider his words. "I, my land-legged acquittance, am what is known as a bat."
Slowly, she lowered her wings beside her and gave a michevious grin as her blue eyes flashed with pride. "And we are masters of the night-flying, us bats."
