What are some tips you guys can give me for instrumental song writing for a guitar play such as myself. Like what is your inspiration or something?

I write the words and if I want to add instruments to it I just play till I've got a tune for the song that I like and works.

Well when im stuck on trying to write a new song on my guitar , i go out side with my guitar and close my eyes and it makes me relaxed and when im relaxed somtimes alot of my best songs come to me ... so try going to a place that makes u feel relaxed and see if it works... and another thing do try to hard to find a song let it come to u if it doesnt then try another time dont force it ^^
