roller-chick361 Does anybody know of some good resources for information on astrology, divination, or herbalism? http://www.astro.com/ is good for astrology. For divination- it depends on what you want to read. I know people who read shells, bones cards- all kinds of stuff really. If you can tell me what you want to read, I might be able to make a suggestion. Herbalism is tricky. Hoodoo has a bit of herbalism to it- but any herbalism is the kind of thing you don't want to mess up on- people can get really sick or even die if you give them the wrong plant. Because of that, I'm always a little gun shy about recommending herbal books or websites. I think that since plants can be misidentified (I knew a gal who thought some young foxglove was nettle! She got so sick!) it's one of those things I think should be taught hands on in the field by an expert. Someone else might have some better advice on it though. sweatdrop

As far as what I want to read, I'd have to say I'd like to learn to read tea leaves, cards, and palms. Maybe someday I might look into runes, but they sound REALLY hard, so I'm going to stick with leaves, cards, and palms.

I know that learning astrology can help you read palms- maybe if you started with astrology and studied you'd see patterns in the other things and it could help?

I've already started working on learning astrology using the information available on astro.com, so I guess we'll see where things go from there.
I don't really understand how astrology can help you read palms though. Can you explain please?

If you understand the astrology, you can look at a "Palm Map" and correlate the meanings. Does that make sense?

So, because parts of the hand correlate with different astrological things, if you understand what the astrological things mean, they will translate almost perfectly into meaning the same thing when read on a palm?
