Patrol. It was like homework on top of homework. Except Hephaistos still wasn't sure how to go about doing it properly or even why, He had yet to run into these Negaverse folks, just a few of the Youma things now and again. Most of his patrols really consisted of sitting on rooftops eying the city while sipping in a milkshake he bought before powering up.
After all one couldn't save the day on an empty stomach right?
So another night, another patrol. The lone Senshi sat alone on the edge of a rooftop. concealed slightly from below, but easily spotted by anyone prowling the rooftops with him. Maybe another Senshi would stop by and keep him company tonight? He had thought about calling one of the many numbers he gained for his phone; yet the idea of just trying to randomly chat up another Senshi seemed like a silly idea.
"I really need to meet other people in this line of work... it gets lonely up here..." he said with a groan before sucking on the straw of his shake. At least he had his late night shake and that always made patrol a little more enjoyable.

"Is that chocolate?" The slurping sound was unmistakable and Chibimoon's ears had wondered if perhaps there was some strange sort of youma who went around sucking energy out of people like a vacuum. Well, alright, there had been droids and daimohn that had done that before but never youma. A girl couldn't be too careful these days, at any rate!
So the petite Japanese teen had quietly tiptoed across the rooftops until she was standing across the way from what was an older male senshi sucking on a milkshake and looking up at the sky with what seemed like boredom. Had he maybe skipped dinner too? Perry had meant to be home for dinner but had run over with grading and Allie did not want to miss her patrol times.
After all, she had a bedtime. It was humiliating at times, but she was fairly obsessed with having time to do her homework before going to sleep for the night and keeping grades up as well as saving the world from the Negaverse. This Usagi had standards.

"Close, chocolate Oreo would be the correct answerer for three hundred points." Putting the shake down he finally got up from his seat taking a long stretch. Roof tops were not all that comfortable for people to just 'chill' on top of. Let alone people dressed in chainmail and senshi outfits.
For a brief moment he almost debated bringing a chair next patrol to relax in He quickly dismissed that in case a youma attack which would possibly ruin a perfectly good camp chair.
When he stopped pondering the idea of how to make patrol a bit more relaxing he turned to face the girl pausing for a moment. Wasn't she one of the ones everyone was making a big deal about at the meeting a while ago? Not to mention she was young.
"You know for all the people at the big meeting you're the first one of us I've met outside of training with Lyra." With that he offered her a gloved hand, "Sailor Hephaistos, Senshi of Metal Craft. You are?"

Glove met glove in a dainty little handshake and it was followed by a proper little bow. "I am Sailor Chibimoon, Senshi of Love, Justice, and the Moon." A finger pointed up at the crescent behind Hephaistos' head with a smile. "I am from nearby." Closer than any other senshi could have possibly been with exception of Sailor Earth. Whoever Sailor Earth was anyway.
They'd never quite figured that one out.
Eyes lingered on the milkshake but instead addressed the fact that he hadn't met any other senshi. "I remember Lyra from the group. She is very nice and had very good ideas. I think you just pick a very quiet corner, He...Hephaistos?" It was a bit accented and came out quite like 'heh-FAY-tos' than anything else. But hey, at least she'd tried.
"I have not been down here before, which is why I have not met you. But now I have." The smile was wide...she might have been trying to charm him out of a milkshake.

"Chibimoon, like little moon?" She certainly fit the title, small, cute, and pink, very pink. Apparently he had forgotten the whole 'she's a princess' part as he continued to sip his shake while she spoke of Lyra.
"She has a mean punch, let that be known too." This was of course said with a finger pointed at the Princess waving his shake ever so slightly side to side as he responded. "And don't worry about the name, it took me a while to get used to it as well."
Once again he sipped at his shake watching that wide smile, and her eyes which seemed to linger just a bit too long on the shake.... well, she was cute, annnnd ah hell what harm could it do? Without a word he held the shake out to her with a grin.
"Little shake shack two blocks over. Makes patrols ten times better."

Well at least it wasn't Rabbit, but he wouldn't have known to call her that. The fact that he could at least wrap his mind around the Japanese was interesting and had her smiling a bit. "Little Moon is the very basic, yes. I am not as little now but I am not as good as Sailor Moon so it is fair." It was the singular fixed point of Chibimoon's entire senshi career -- she wasn't good enough to claim the title of Sailor Moon and would probably never be.
But then, who was? It was the rebellious thought of a girl living in the shadow of a goddess and it wasn't until the shake was proffered in front of her face that attention returned to Hephaistos. Ruby eyes blinked and a wide grin split her face.
"Thank you!" A quick sip and a cooing sound of girlish happiness as she took another. "More than ten! There is only one thing better than milkshake and that is pudding." Pudding was the best thing in the world but you couldn't really drink it through a straw.
Most times.
"Have you been a senshi a long time?"

It was of course the typical anime dweller knowledge, he knew bits and pieces from cheesey kung-fu action films or animes he had watched time to time. Had she actually spoken flat out Japaness he would have simply responded with a 'desu desu desu' in his best deep asian man voice.
"Nope not little at all, but names stick like glue." he shrugged, "Kinda wish my own wasn't so long but I can't say I have to live up to much of anything other then myself." Of course he should try to live up to Lyra and Chloe's expectations, but beyond that as a Senshi he mostly did as he pleased or felt was right to do so far.
"Don't mention it, I live off these things really, if I could use this getup like a police officer to get discounts I'd be buying them. all night long." He paused for a moment frowning, "Course a lack of pockets would make that a bit of a pain." He mussed before looking back at the girl, "Pudding's all right, but a cool shake on a warm day is the best. As for... well being a Senshi... no not really long honestly. Kinda new to the whole save the world gig."
