Sorry if this topic has come up before, but how many people are in need of rarities or hard to find songs?
I was thinking of instituting maybe a "Song Of the Week" thing if enough people are in need of them and I can find a place to host em. I think there are a few places out there that I can utilize.
Probably a stupid idea, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway sweatdrop

Sounds like a great idea! It would bring members together, share the wealth, yadda yadda yadda. Of course, I have no idea how to do it, so, that's up to you. But it's a swell idea, yes. 4laugh

Ami-Kae Sounds like a great idea! It would bring members together, share the wealth, yadda yadda yadda. Of course, I have no idea how to do it, so, that's up to you. But it's a swell idea, yes. 4laugh I think I can manage it on my own, and as far as I know, I have pretty much anything that's out there and available. One song a week shouldn't be too bad, and maybe after I post em all (several years later...) someone'll find a song I don't have smile The only question is whether to keep each week's song in its own thread (maybe that way we can have discussions or just general rants about the songs) or maybe if the Song of the Week has it's own thread in general and all the songs/discussions go into that regardless. The cons for the first would be a TON of posts, over time (which may not be a bad thing, depending.) The cons for the second would be that it might be hard for people to find new additions amongst the old ones, esp if there are a lot of replies. If there aren't a lot of replies, shouldn't be a problem, but it's hard to tell. What do you guys think is the best way?

Like "I was whoring up all the candy" or "I was whoring my video game last night." What I actually mean is "Doing something a lot, or to excess" but whoring comes out instead... Then again I never was very cool myself xp

I think that is a great idea.
But how can we host it? I was thinking yousendit perhaps. A weekly song on yousend it or something. And I can help with the boingo rarities. I know I have stuff that not everyone has. But I also know that Purple Lemon has what I have and more, so yah. ^^;;
