Another early winter day was upon them, it wasn't really all that cold yet. But the last sign of fall were just barely holding on. A random leaf struggling to hold onto it's branch against the cold breeze, bundles of them still flutter along the ground, or even float along in the air with Baroque blowing them out of his faces as he flew along.
He was always sad that he couldn't enjoy flight with the rest of his family, but he never let that stop him from enjoying it himself. Still, he had been flying around for a while, and he knew he ought to be heading back. After all, he was simply out and about, doing his duty for the herd. He was a scout, and as a scout he was in charge of making sure there wasn't any immediate sign of danger for his herd. And, things were positively clear. He still kept his eyes open though, he knew from family tales that anything could happen at any time.
He caught sight of a little clearing, positively tiny. But, it was the best landing spot for a good mile. So, he headed toward the ground in a slow circle, and when he landed, giving out a long jingle from his bells. He noticed he wasn't exactly alone. The other stallion must have been blocked by his view be the branches above them.
"Whoops! Sorry if I spooked you! I was just scouting out the area, and my wings were a bit exhausted, so I noticed this little clearing and decided to land..." He gave a soft bow, trying to remember all his lessons from Cuauhcoatl about manners. Honestly, he had way to much in his lessons to remember every little thing. Still, he was distracted form his lessons about manners, by the fact that the stallion in front of him appeared to be drawing something. He obviously knew about painting, he knew everything about the arts, again thanks to his Angeni mentor, and his excellent mother.
"What's that?" He asked, with a tilt of his head, once again activating the soft chimes that come with his movements. He completely forgot about the biggest part of his lessons, always introduce yourself first.
