like, I only just now bought it (job searches are murder), and I got to the part when I become king, but..........WTF IS LIONHEADS PROBLEM?! I literally can't do ANY good deeds or fulfill any promises I made without completely dooming my people, not to mention being absolutely broke! Is Lionhead run by Goths?! I have not played Fable one yet (no original xbox or xbox 360 hard drive), but I'm certain there was some sad ending no matter what choice you make. Fable 2 gave you nothing but grief also. your sister is revived, but you never see her again. WTMFBS is that all about?!
you: maybe you should finish the game first.
Me: I really, really don't want to, seeing as how by fulfilling one promise, over six million people will die.
yeah, fable is fun, but dammit, why all the tearful endings?

There's a way around that, you know--you can buy up as much property you can and jack up the rent prices as high as they can go. Then keep buying and renting out property until you have everything, and you'll get a lot of money really fast. Then all you have to do is transfer it all from your personal treasure pile to the treasury, and viola! There you go. You can keep all your promises and still save your people.
The thing about these games is that for every choice, there is a consequence. A lot of times, the more noble of choices means that you have to give something up for the greater good.
Btw, I heard that if everyone dies at the end, you can reserrect them by filling up the treasury again. Not sure if that's true or not, but it's worth a shot.

Hold off on making any decisions until you buy up a s**t ton of property and save millions. The game will jump ahead 121 and you will have to fight the final boss, and your people WILL die.

you gotta know the whole story before ranting on about how you get sad over a collection of AI dying.

I think the storyline is too short for exact. even when the darkness comes its like oh we have to prepare then after you defeat the final boss all the heroes that have helped you are gone.
its really short.
