Hidden deep inside the Follium Forest, Ferloe town is a quiet dwelling steeped in heavy culture and tradition. It is a simple place known for it's herbal medicines, and was actually the birthplace of Kurt the BallMaker from Jhoto. The houses there are mostly wooden, and people and Pokemon live there in harmony.
There are many Shinto shrines in the town, with a grand temple in the center. The temple is eleven stories high, but nobody has ever gone above floor nine. An old legend says that on the eleventh floor, the spirit of the forest dwells, looking after the people and Pokemon of Ferloe and the Follium Forest. Supposedly, only the noble of heart and strong of spirit are permitted through to the top two floors.
