Something my band director constantly does is when somebody isn't paying attention he throws like a pencil, marker, or like some cork, or slide grease at them, it's fun. ^_^

 My band director likes to change his mind at the very last second, and it tends to be an inconvienance
Also, if we're not paying attention, he'll stop talking, and stare at you until you finally look at him, and he just smiles, waves, and says "hi. Now pay attention."
During the marching band season, he always threatens us with a sniper rifle. "Damn, if I had my sniper rifle, ya'll would be dead. Get to your freakin dot."

My director turns really red when he is mad and makes funny faces.... its kinda scary sweatdrop When we ask for water he says," Get over it princess" and hits us over the head if we mess up

Whenever someone in my band asks "what are we doing today?" she'll reply, "Same thing we do everyday Pinky. Try to take over the world."
Or if someone suggests something she'll say,"as my daddy used to say, there you go thinking again." xd
She also throws things at us like pencils or markers if were not paying attention sweatdrop

Mine always has to make a useless speech that's supposed to motivate us, but always keeps going on and on.
Like when we got out of a Saturday practice before competition at 12:40 instead of 12. He just kept talking and talking and talking...

During marching practice, he always says, "One more time!" a hundred times. He also throws dry erase markers when someone's not paying attention.

Well, while we practice the marching show outside, he does these two things:
Mr Vela: I gotta feelin'...
Entire Band: Woo-hoo!
and also...
Mr. Vela: I like to move it, move it, I like to move it, move it, I like to move it, move it, you like to...
Entire Band: Move it!

My band director tends to tell us his weird dreams or xd morbid/disturbing stories........ We call it story time ^_^

Mine likes to stop every second measure, as well as get horribly sidetracked. .__. and although it's probably nothing, we usually are not playing the parts we're supposed to, I'm a flutist, but nine times out of ten, I'm playing oboe or having to play some obscene trombone part that I need to translate into treble clef as I go along. sweatdrop

My current Director does several things, all of which I find quite endearing:
>> When he's "Disappointed", he looks down and shakes his head while grabbing his neck.

I've noticed from reading all of these posts that Band Directors are the only teachers in a High School that can get away with being abusive. ^ - ^

It's also funny because he brings food in with him everyday and throws it at the guys that can't pay attention. :3

We call it story time ^_^ our band dirctor tells us these odd things that he's had happen to him in his life, and stuff it's stupid but funny. like stuff that's happened in college, and his cat mr.skittles
