What gives you a sense of belonging? Is there anything in particular you need to feel comfortable or happy in a place or make you feel asthough you dont belong?
What makes you feel like you dont belong? Is there anything that a person might do? or certain enviroment you find yourself uncomfortable in?
Me: I get a sense of belonging from the people, the atmosphere, how people aproach and act towards&around me...
Friends, I always try to make friends and make people happy hehe
I sometimes find myself in uncomfortable places but try to make it better =P.

"Believe Believe Belong" /shot (If anyone doesn't know the reference, it's from Courage the Cowardly Dog's Episode "The Quilt Club"
Sense of belonging: if the group accepts my prescense and willing to interact with me as a person for who I am.
Sense of not belonging: stared down and ignored. Happened to me my sophmore year when a guy who was passing food just glared at me and then "skipped" me. Learned from friends that he doesn't like me one bit since he assumed I was gay (this was before I discovered my sexuality). Hurt, but got over it.
I know that I won't be able to be friends with everyone, but that would be a waste of energy. I say just go with those that want to be with you as well.

Belonging is a firendly atmosphere I guess. I was ignored most of elementry school. And then high school got better but I still don't have a lot of friends or ones that I think will stand by me if I need them. But I've always been insecure that way.
