Also, couldn't think of a better title. so, if it doesn't fit, sorry. x'D
But yeah.. this poem took about a year to finish. Anyway, onto the poem.
By the way, opinions are welcome. I'd honestly like to know what you guys think...

Eternity collapsed
Forever is broken
Hope is now ruins
As "faith" now pollutes
Dreams are now daggers,
Meant to cut down
And happiness is now taboo,
Being called wrong
Thoughts have been warped
And souls now blind
We all now carry a mask
To hide ourselves behind
But now, do we too, see only our own mask?
Looked upon as common
Only following the crowd
The mask is the person
That we are now
The soul cries out to be heard again
As the heart withers under the shade
The body becoming empty
As it is yet a pawn to be played
But the withered and forgotten heart
Still beats under those scars
Sound as a feather
It still carries on
Forget those burdens
Lay down those rules of hate
For the heart is waiting
For you to call back
To help it grow and beat strong again
Eternity rebuilds
Forever still holds
Hope lives on
As faith unites
Dreams are never forgotten,
Looking to brighter ways
And happiness can still be found
If we live on and love
And truly find ourselves
