The holidays were always some of Marc’s favorites during the year. The winter holidays being at the forefront. The boy loved the snow. Loved the cozy blankets. And loved the presents. Oh, yes. The presents. Just so many he’d received this year. Even at his age (16), the teen was still receiving stuffed animals and other childish assortments. But he happily accepted the gifts. Smiling politely or offering free and eager hugs to friends and family members alike that gave him the presents. However, one of his porcelain dolls had cracked a hand during an accidental drop. Which is what brought the young boy to the ‘Toy Shop’ the store which was accurately named. It not only sold toys but repaired them.

Breath puffing infront of him in small wisps of fog, the boy lightly ran his tongue along his thin lips to ease the dryness. He was well suited to the cold. A heavy coat hugging his frame along with a long sleeved sweater and hoodie. An otherwise slender boy was bulked up under the layers of clothing. It didn’t detract from his appearance however. Delicate features that made him resemble a child. If it wasn’t for the fact that he was so tall, one might have mistaken him for a youngster. A proud 5’8”, Marc was a bit gangly but made up for it with his boyish charm. Upon entering the establishment, a bell jiggled once the door swung open to signal his arrival. Patting a gloved hand to his brown hair, he brushed the ruminants of snow from his head before trekking in further.

The winter was magical. Truly and utterly amazing. From the bitter cold that made you huddle together with loved ones to the snow you could play in with your friends. It was all so- "....Miserable. I hate the snow." With an angry click of her cell, she hung up on the person she had been conversing with. If it wasn't for the snow, all the people, the crowds, she would actually be enjoying herself. Gwyneth didn't truly hate the snow, it was everything surrounding it. The people, the noise, the crowds! She hefted a sigh, watching her breath dissipate in the chilly air. Thank goodness for coats. She was bundled up in a glob of dark blue to protect her from the cold, wet snow.

The only thing that seemed to make her smile was the warm glow of the toy store. It was on the list, to see if they could fix the windup doll her mother had found. No need to be grumpy here! There was so much to see, so much to do. Maybe they had the latest version of virtual toys out. That would certainly be something to look into, but for the time being, there was the doll.

She almost ran to the entrance. She could not bare to stay away form the welcoming glow. Gwyneth took off her hood, breathing a sigh of relief. She took a step to head for the toy repair section, when an unwelcomed puddle of water caught her off guard. She emitted a rather girly squeal before reaching an arm out for something to stop her from falling. She caught herself on the shoulder of a rather cute looking person, around her age (16), but barely taller than her 5'7" height. "I'm so sorry!" She uttered, trying to detach herself form the lanky young man.

Marc cradled the broken doll for the entire walk over towards the store, and kept the toy nestled in his curled arm even as he browsed. Delicately holding the possession, he was keenly aware of the girl even as she entered the store. Out of his peripherals the teen eyed her, and thankfully he paid such close attention! When she slipped, Marc’s arm grew ridged once he saw her flail and reach out to support herself. It was a slight movement that none might have noticed unless they were directing their attention to the boy. Turning to face her, the boy flicked his head, which caused his hair to flip. Giving an oblivious expression, he mocked surprise when his eyebrows arched and laughed shortly and sharply. “Oh!” Going through the motions to shuffle awkwardly and all of the normal reactions that would happen between strangers, he dipped his head as he rubbed at the back of his neck. “It’s okay~ its okay~.”
Peeking up at the girl through a veil of brown bangs, Marc offered a shy smile. “Watch your step. We wouldn’t want you getting hurt.” He shifted the doll in his arms, and held out a hang to shake Gwyn’s. “Are you a student? Which high school you go to? I don’t think I’ve seen you around.”

She was surprised that the boy had caught her with impressive strength. He looked as if he would fall over with the tiniest breeze, yet he had held her up so gracefully. She blush out of embarrassment and slightly because she was being held by a person of the opposite gender. She brought herself up, rubbing the back of her head awkwardly. "I'm really sorry..." She set her eyes on a distant point to hide her blush. "They really need to put up a wet floor sign here." Like that would have stopped her from still falling.

One another note, she felt that she should introduce herself. "I'm Gwyneth." She beamed him a bright smile, "And what may I call my savior?" She quirked an eyebrow subtlety while looking for the department to fix the broken doll.
