The holidays were always some of Marc’s favorites during the year. The winter holidays being at the forefront. The boy loved the snow. Loved the cozy blankets. And loved the presents. Oh, yes. The presents. Just so many he’d received this year. Even at his age (16), the teen was still receiving stuffed animals and other childish assortments. But he happily accepted the gifts. Smiling politely or offering free and eager hugs to friends and family members alike that gave him the presents. However, one of his porcelain dolls had cracked a hand during an accidental drop. Which is what brought the young boy to the ‘Toy Shop’ the store which was accurately named. It not only sold toys but repaired them.
Breath puffing infront of him in small wisps of fog, the boy lightly ran his tongue along his thin lips to ease the dryness. He was well suited to the cold. A heavy coat hugging his frame along with a long sleeved sweater and hoodie. An otherwise slender boy was bulked up under the layers of clothing. It didn’t detract from his appearance however. Delicate features that made him resemble a child. If it wasn’t for the fact that he was so tall, one might have mistaken him for a youngster. A proud 5’8”, Marc was a bit gangly but made up for it with his boyish charm. Upon entering the establishment, a bell jiggled once the door swung open to signal his arrival. Patting a gloved hand to his brown hair, he brushed the ruminants of snow from his head before trekking in further.
