 Roxanna had finally gotten over her childhood akwardness of her wings and managed to fly... at least short distances. Apparently her body was denser than other winged sorts and therefor, she could never do more than a hop, skip and a jump's worth of flying. But at least she knew the joy of it now!
The multi-colored female was out and about, feeling rather confident in her now adult body than she ever had in her childhood. She knew what her horn was for, and how her wings worked. She had even found a mask and was wearing that now! Roxanna had her wings firmly pressed in place as she trotted around a bubbling stream that led into the lake that she lived in. Her black and blue orbs of eyes peered from out of the mask as she heard something move in the brush across the stream. What was over there?

 Virulent had woken that morning to a foul stench in the air. After sniffing around for a moment she realized it was herself. Horrified she'd let herself get such a foal odor attach to her body, the mare headed toward her normal bathing spot.
The stream was soft and soothing today, but she still found herself glaring at it. Oh why wasn't their a way for her to bathe without getting wet? Slowly she stepped into the shallow water. Holding back her fear, she quickly and thoroughly cleansed herself before hoping hurriedly out of the water.
In her rush she managed to snag her one of her braids on a bush. Cursing softly she gently pulled it out of said bush. After doing so she moved a bit farther away from the stream and began to shake herself dry.
