D-Rank Clearance: Unranked Shinigami
The main room of the 12th Division Laboratory is comprised of a large open space where steel lab tables are abundant, filled with high-tech computers, research equipment, and various tools for research. While lower-ranked Shinigami are tasked with keeping the main lab clean, it is not often so as experiments are constantly going on and messes and moved equipment are abundant.

Deep underground, through an unmarked door in the back of the labs and past many security checkpoints, lies a single, large-scale laboratory that is devoted entirely to Fringe Science. At a glancing blow, it does not appear to be sanitary, but this an illusion, as it is cleaned daily by one of the Hakase servants, the only other individual allowed inside. Because many not-so-legal and highly secretive experiments occur here, only the 12th Division Captain and the Captain Commander have clearance to be in this sector. Though there are windows in this underground lab, they do not lead to anywhere, and are merely present to simulate being above ground, and artificial light within the window panes shines inside. Multiple high-tech devices are located in this room, nearly all of which are unable to be operated by anyone other than Tsukiko herself simply because she designed them herself, leaving many machines without outer paneling and other such things.
