He seems to be enjoying it but not nearly as much I had. One thing he doesn't like is how long the main quests are.... he was frustrated with the "Anvil of the Void" one . xp

Lol, ik what this means. I tried to make my 6-year-old-brother to play dao. Well, everything seemed to be okay, he created his character (a dwarf noble rogue) and started his quest. But since he is so girlish, he disliked fights (even though he was soooo excited from watching me and wanted to play by himself). So now, he doesn't play dao anymore, because he's scared of fights and that he might die (that's his reaction to cruel game).

That's so funny, he's afraid of the fights so he doesn't want to play anymore...though he's young so it's understandable.
My brother is 23 and he wouldn't play the game because one of his friends didn't like it....which is the dumbest reason ever to not play a game. My brother and I have very similar tastes when it comes to games so I knew he would love this game if he gave it a chance....so I would pester him all the time to give it a try. He finally gave in and I am so proud 3nodding
Oh and I agree Esper..... It can be hard for guys to actually think sometimes XD

I finally got one of my friends to play the game after a year as well, and while she likes the game, she dislikes Alistair with a passion. She finds him rude of all things. sad
Congrats on getting him to finally play though, I disliked the Anvil of the Void quest too.

There's something clearly wrong with your friend.... How can she not like Alistair? stare Plus... he's anything but rude. He's the biggest sweetheart ever.

While i may not be the biggest Alistair fan ever i will admit that he is a sweetheart.. extremely adorable and.. Well heck he's amazing o_o How the heck would she of even gotten rude out of him? .___. At most i could of seen her finding him annoying with his jokes... But note rude >.< Oh but now i've gotten off topic haven't i?

well the main reason some people would see Alister as rude is do to what he says to Morrigan cause he shows a lot of spite towards her from the start thats my main guess

That's not exactly fair because Morrigan is the one usually starts the arguments or whatever due to her crude remarks. Alistair just treats her poorly because he's responding to way she treats him. Seems only fair xd

i found Alistair to be a bit slow sometime, the mission i hated the most was when the sloth demon puts you to sleep in the circle tower and forces you into the fade it is so long and bores me with all the walking and little interaction.

The only one close to me to play DA is my husbie.
Everyone else fails, imo.

My roommate finally started playing DA II after having a copy for months. She's totally obsessed with it now, but she still doesn't really get a lot of basic concepts. XP
Other than that, I've had huge falling-outs with anybody I knew who played as obsessively as I do. The last one was right before I got DA II. It's sad when the thing you miss most about somebody is their ability to talk about Dragon Age with you.
