Anybody heard of Barrage? I mean, they are so totally badass it's unbelievable. It's 7 violinists, a bassist, a guitarist, some percussion... and probly some other stuff I forgot. They play music from fiddle to oriental, and all the ukrane in between. They're really magnificent. Here's there website, check it OUT! http://www.barrage.caHere's a short clip of one of my fav songs, Irish style. http://barrage.ca/shop/music/live/lie9.mp3

Yes, I have in fact heard of Barrage. They are ok. One of the women is WAY too much of a showoff. I want her to go away. By the way, this is still TarienRose. Name change.

Nice! I'll have to check them out, as soon as my dad stops using the speakers for recording things. domokun
By the way, I was a little surprised when TarienRose ceased being a mod and AlbinoRed took her place. I'm glad it's still you, or I would have been concerned, wondering how on earth it came about.

Nope, not a welcome back. I just come on every Saturday. My boyfriend/fiance/soulmate/not sure what to call him got banned from Gaia for a really stupid reason...so he is using my formerly dying account. He changed the name. I'll come on only once a week (every Saturday). I may or may not post. Ricey is NOT going to post in the guild, so messages in this guild from Albino Red will always have been written by me.

Ooh, I saw a commercial for those guys on TV a while ago. I was just gawking at the screen, watching them fiddling about while leaping over random obstacles. xp I have yet to listen to their music, though; I'll check out their samples.

I love Barrage so much I have all of their cd's and I've been to see them live four times and I've met all of them and have their autographs hanging on my wall. I actually did a workshop with them a cuple years ago with them. Hmm...I have a cd comeing out for my group the Fees Fiddlers soon. I should find a way to download it on to the computer some time so everone can listen to it. 3nodding

I'm for Rasputina (cello) and Voltaire (Gregor Kitzis on violin), but I'll definitely check Barrage out. They sound rather 'rawk'ing.

I love Barrage! I have their music books and accompaniment cds, but what I really want is their real cds...with them playing, I mean. I can't find them in local stores...
