If nothing else could be said in the positive about Guilian's family, they were a very fond and close-knit bunch. Age and maternity being vastly different amongst the wide-spread brood, there were nevertheless very strong ties of affection and amiability between Guilian and his children, and even amongst the children themselves...at least to certain extents. This was very pronouncedly the case in his second daughter, Amarantine.
Amary, as she was called, was very much the loving mare. The product of Guilian's union with the Spirit of his Heart, Luca, Amary had inherited her looks, her charisma, her positive outlook on life, and her love of family from those two very unique individuals. Also from her parents, she had learned to embrace her own passions and feelings, loving the company of stallions almost to the point of excess. She was a free spirit, the sort of mare who loved everyone, but nothing exclusively. Positivity and affection were in her wheelhouse, and she was good at displaying both!
This morning, those traits had been in fine form. She had just been home to see her parents, who had recently welcomed twins. This brought their overall total of biological children up to 16, of which Amary, her brother Leon, and the two newest arrivals were the only offspring of both Luca and Guilian. It was a complex family tree, but Amary was part of it and loved it. That love now included her new brother and sister, who she had admired a great deal before drifting off. The morning currently saw Amary out on her own, humming happily to herself as she drifted between the trees.
