for those of you who know, RED is coming out with a new album, what you don't know is that they have two songs that you can listen to (i use mixpod which is a music site) "the machine" and "faceless" both VERY amazing with the same unique sound and better, more screaming and better sound biggrin

dudez its best to buy the songs, otherwise Red wont make any profit from their music and they wont be able to afford making new music. Please, PLEASE buy music and don't just download it. I help with a band and I understand how hard it is to make money when everyone wont pay for their music.

I work with a band and I understand how hard it is to make money when everyone wont pay for their music. Screw that. Music is something you shouldnt have to pay for. Red is popular enough and are making plenty of money.

Just because a band is famous doesn't mean they make a lot of money. They barely make any from playing shows and they make absolutely nothing from making an album unless someone buys it. Even iTunes only gives them a small percentage of what is paid for their music. The majority of a bands profit comes from merch and CD sales. They need enough money to pay for their tour, gas, food, clothes, and they need money for the recording process if you ever want to hear their music again. That is why they make you pay for the music because they had to pay to make it and they need to make a profit or what's the point? They worked their butts off to write the music for you so the least you can do is spend your money on a song or two and have a little respect and appreciation.
