The sound of wings beating could be heard through the forest as a brightly colored kuniku descended from the sky. Being careful to avoid the outstretched branches of trees, Naito tilted his body as he stretched out his legs to prepare to land in a small clearing. Blue paws dug into the fallen piles of leaves scattered across the ground, and the medic sighed as he came to a firm stop. To his surprise, no one else was there in the area as he looked around. It was a surprisingly warm day for winter; the sky was cloudless and the noon sun shone brightly overhead.
Despite it being a good while before spring, medicinal supplies were still needed within the pack so Naito had called all of the Seishin pack's medics to come with him to gather what herbs they might be able to find. He was well aware that the majority of plants the healers used on a regular basis were out of season but that didn't mean that everything that remained in the forest at the base of the mountain was unworkable. Naito folded his wings to rest on his back, his tail feathers spreading slightly with discomfort at the thought that perhaps his request had been forgotten. 'We agreed on midday as the time, and this clearing as the meeting place', the winged male thought to himself, certain that he had relayed all the details of the job the day before. Hoping that the others would simply just be a little late, Naito moved to the side of the clearing in order to have a wider view whenever someone else showed up.

Hijau leaped over a large rotten log overgrown by moss and orange fungi, kicking up large chunks of dirt as she landed and took a quick left. The soft dirt squished up between her paws with each step, causing her to giggle with delight at the cool and ticklish feeling of the earth. She looked over her shoulder at an large, old tree, marked with a couple of paw prints and a deep scratch. Almost there, Hjiau thought to herself. As she broke through between two thorny shrubs, Hijau sighted the orange kuniku, Naito, towards the edge of the clearing. She bounded over to him, breathless, and flopped onto the slightly damp grass. After regaining her breath, she looked up at the seated kuniku, who was peering down at her with a slightly annoyed look on his face. "Sorry I'm late," she grinned sheepishly, " WIP
