Raine appeared directly in front of the Medical Center, clutching his pained side as he waited for his Captain to arrive.

"She takes so long sometimes..." He smiled.

Raine's expression snapped into a blank state of shock, his pointed finger drooped in pure defeat... "But you were ju- I just saw you over- How did you get here so.... Ergh!..." Raine grunted a sigh of defeat as he trudged into the Medical Facility. He plopped himself onto an available cot besides Ruka's, awaiting medical attention as the same younger shinigami arrived to treat him. The medic was obviously nervous as he fidgeted with the bandages, but Raine's kind smile and joyful aura calmed his hurried hands, and therefore enabled him to concentrate more on working with the bandages until he had done a decent enough job to hold off Raine's injuries for the time being.

A few moments passed as the younger shinigami walked away and was soon replaced by a very interesting looking nurse. She appeared to be very beautiful, with long, brown, wavy locks that cascaded and framed her heart shaped face. She was wearing a rather tight shinigami outfit as Raine noticed her chest more than anything else, quickly averting his eyes to avoid perverted thoughts...

Hot Damn...

Looking over to his captain, he flashed a thumbs up to her, gesturing to the very interesting nurse he had been assigned with...

"Now I'm just going to perform some healing kido to fix you up!" The nurse smiled with a wink as she followed through with her medical procedures.

Raine could not help but allow his tongue to fall out in utter love... She is so... So... Beauti- he mentally slapped himself to refrain from slipping into a series of perverted images that would cause him to lose control in the center of the Medical Facitlity. Raine simply smiled kindly to the nurse as she continued to heal him.

Ruka shook her head and smiled at her lieutenant as he tried to find a way that she could have arrived there before him. It was amusing to say the least, but if she could sneak up on him then she could definitely move quickly. As Raine's attentions became focused on the new nurse she stifled a laugh behind one hand and received a slight scolding look from the medic attending to her for it. She only grinned back cheerfully as she saw the faint amusement in the medics eyes.

It took a good amount of sheer will to keep from bursting out laughing from the expression on his face. Taking pity on him at last she tried to divert the topic "So where are we going to eat ramen? I'm more for okonomiyaki so you know the shops better than I do." there was a wide grin on her face as she tried her best to restrain her laughter.

Ruka tilted her head lightly as the last of the patch up was finished. She thanked the medic and he gave her a warm smile before leaving to attend to other patients. The captain smiled faintly as she turned to Raine, laughing as the nurse gave him a scolding look "The squad shops are nice..." she refrained from adding any further to the comment. Having grown up in Rukongai she couldn't help but honestly think that a lot of things there were better despite the poverty.

She shook her head lightly as he talked "Oi vey. Noble houses." she rolled her eyes as though exasperated even though she was only teasing. "You mean Koganehiko and Shiroganehiko?" Ruka had a tendency to drop by and say hello to Kukaku every once in a while, so she actually knew those who lived there. A thought from earlier resurfaced and suddenly her eyes lit up and she hopped to her feet "I know! Let's go to Rukongai! You haven't been there much right?" there was a bright grin on her face as she recalled all the good memories from there. Maybe if she stopped by she'd even be able to see a few of her old friends...
