 Adalyn had been feeling guilty lately..she felt bad for her brother but she could still not believe he like other..males..it was just it sounded so wrong to her but he was her brother by blood..did that mean she had to accept it and move on? She felt a horrible burden on her wondering what her parents would of thought.. She could not even think of liking other mares.. you could never have little foals and if you did they had 2 dads or 2 moms! She shook her head i disgust wondering how she would react if she met another that like the same gender..would she be able to stand talking to them? only time would tell..
She pushed these thought out of her mind and tried to think of pleasant things. Then she saw the spirits from no where..They came at random times and she never knew when but she could see them now..Past mares,stallions and even foals all of them dead. She did wonder why she could see them and must of thought it strange to whom found her out here in a trance like state staring without moving.blinking,breathing..

 "Uhm... ma'am?" Pavtira had been concealed in the trees, which because of the new moon kept his white fur from being so noticeable in the dark. The stars lightly illuminated their surroundings but not enough to give him the "glowing" effect he often had.
She had been standing there completely still for sometime now, and that crept a worry knot into Pavitra's stomach.
"Are you alright?"

She is suddenly swept away from the spirits and blinks again shivering and shaking off her encounter. They always left her with an uneasy feeling..Then she noticed standing out in the darkness a pure white stallion who looked like a leftover spirit. She stared out him for sometime and was startled when he spoke and she almost jumped backward.
Spirits never spoke to her so she knew that he must be real but then why was he so white..? He stood out and she noticed that. She back up a little not knowing if he could be trusted or not wondering who he was.
"Yes im fine..."
Her voice was very cold and a bit high pitched like the wind

"Oh I am very sorry to have startled you." That was the only conclusion Pavitra could think of. He was an idiot, stalking up on a mare like that in the middle of the night while she was obviously deep in thought. "I promise, that was not my intention." Frowning at himself Pavitra trotted up to her.
"I'm Pavitra. Its a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He had gotten into a habit bowing before people as his introduction, and sometimes a 'thank you'. "What might your name be, if you don't mind my asking?" Smiling gently, he returned to his standing position and waited patiently. He reminded himself to talking quietly. He need not startle her again.

"You should never disturb..those who wish not to be.."
She turns her cold gaze to him and studies him more. He looks to not have eyes kind of like her but can still see..that or there just white and he is all white from head to toe..
"Promises are worthless they mean nothing but pain and misery.."
She shakes her head as he moves closer to her and she backs up. She is not used to this kind of interaction..she always watches things unfold from the dark never like this in plain view. she felt exposed and helpless
"Names do not matter but if you wish to know my name is Adalyn.."
She lets out a snort as she smiles at her he has not gone through the pain she has..he is carefree and she is one to envy that

Wow. This girl was even more depressing than he could be sometimes. Shocked rocketed through his expression and he looked very sorry for intruding.
"I.. uh.. very sorry.. Adalyn." As he spoke he started back tracking, and planned on turning around and leaving the mare to her devices. It was clear he was not wanted and should not be here. Guilt and general bad feelings crept into his chest and swirled, causing almost a physical weight as he walked from the female.

Adalyn watched him back off and start to leave but she felt urge to tell him not to he had done nothing wrong..in fact she was grateful he did show up he made the spirits leave..
"Please dont feel the need to leave.."
she wants to know more about him now wondering why he is so white himself..She could possibly make him into a good friend if he turned out to be better than her brother..

Confusion replaced his shock and he looked at anything else but the female before him. "No, you're right. I shouldn't have.. uh.. yeah, sorry." He bowed his head to make his apology more meaningful.
He'd honestly been worried about her, alone in the dark. Of course, he might not of been much help. All he had was fast hooves and that couldn't of helped her one little bit. If she'd been lonely or scared, he would of invited her to return to his and his traveling companions sleeping sight. Though they'd been traveling little of no time, she might of felt better being around two other horses.
Plus, Rajput looked like he could take on the best of them, which gave him a twinge of admiration... and something more. He was definitely obvious he felt attraction to the open and blunt stallion, but Rajput... well... Pavitra wasn't his cup of tea more than likely.

She stared thinking this stallion was brainless and hopeless..The way he talked would not get him very far she knew that. He needed to become smarter and stop saying sorry all the time sorry meant nothing to her
"Sorry means nothing unless you mean to act on your words"
She snorts as he bows thinking of her heard friend Kamau and how he tended to bow as soon as he met someone. She knew he had courage but this stallion here was much less confendnt than him

Her words stopped his exit.
"Sorry means what ever meaning you put into it," he corrected. "As would any other word. It is what ever you want to mean." This mare wasn't very friendly apparently. "Or else, your words would mean nothing at all. That is if you follow your logic. However, I see their meaning though I may disagree."
It took a lot to sober up Pavitra but once he was, he wasn't as die hard friendly that you would normally see. He narrowed his eyes and stood solemnly. Was his time spent with Rajput rubbing off on him?
"Why are you talking to me as if you're so full of wisdom, as if I am a foal born of ignorance?" His words weren't cold or harsh. They were merely a curiousity.

Adalyn was not processing what he said as she did not care about silly promises. She never even meant to meet this stallion
"There may be meaning behind a promise..I would hope you keep to yours"
She frowned at his next words her gaze growing colder on him wanting him to just leave and stop asking silly questions
"You seem new to everything around you..it seems you have not been here long enough to know the rules.."

"Rules of what precisely?" He shunned the urges to simply leave and avoid this conversation. This female enticed him a way he'd never felt. She made him want to argue. To fight her logic. To try and rip her from this depressing thought pattern- a pattern given away by the word choice she used. Why was that? In the back of his mind he felt a worry forming, but it was not the forefront of his mind. She, the white and black mare before him, was taking that spot.
He studied her face more intently on that thought. He now saw... her face wasn't black at all. It was a mask. Before she could answer, he said the meanest thing he had ever said in his life, or thats how he saw it. "You use a mask to hide from the world? And here you stand and judge me with out even a show curiousity. At least I gave you that courtesy."

She gets closer to him now frowning from under her mask knowing he would leave soon. They always did no one had ever tried to change her and so she remained the way she was. Sometimes she wished they would..
At his next words she grew angry at him he knew not what she had been through all her life. He probably had a worry free word with no hardship or a reason to be scared of who you are.
"I have all the rights to hide my face! Do you know anything at all about me?? No you do not..I bet your worry free and never had to go through what i did!! Now you think you have the rights to call me for my actions?? You never will have those rights!"

He remained with a calm and level voice, not at all outwardly effected by her rising voice. Of course on the inside he knew he'd feel very guilt for talking to a mare like this. But gosh darn it, she pushed his buttons. He'd been inwardly frustrated already because of his friendship with Rajput, though he was pretty sure it was worth it.
"As the same for you, Adalyn." He kept eye contact as long as his could, slowly blinking with he had too.
"Have you ever even tried to share your stories? Your hardships? I would say probably not. I wouldn't assume normally, but perhaps no one knows your pain because you refuse them the information."

She shakes her head having lost all of her interest in talking to this stallion. She doubted he could help her anyways they always failed. This was the reason it was so hard for her to make friends or even find the one she was missing in her life. They never tired to get her to open so she always stayed the same. Not that she blamed them she knew how she was and changing would be almost impossible but if she met one patient enough..
"No one cares about my problems or what i have gone through no one ever stinks around long enough to help"
She snorts her cold gaze at his eyes level and now they seemed to be in a staring contest tying to read each others minds through eye contact. She stays put though wondering if he will leave like countless others
"I have explained my story many times but all they ever do is listen and then turn tail and claim not to know my pain..No one has ever tried to change my and im fine with that"
