Any tips on common faults from these used rifles I should look for when looking?

If the bore is shiny and/or free of pitting, and the front sight is straight, it's probably a winner.

The shop I'm going to buy it from only has 91/30s which is the one I want. The shop is also selling packs of 20 rounds for $5. I get a free box of ammo when I buy!

scratch that. couldnt find any, came home with a magpul B.A.D. lever for my AR instead, going to just use the rest of my money for gas, etc.

I gotta say, the b.a.d. lever is pretty sweet
