And when you're the one who has these, plus a violent, broken family to deal with, but no shoulder to cry on, it's near impossible. It's a miracle to get through each day, to get up every morning. But I do it. Haven't you guessed? The girl I'm talking about is me. Yeah, awful, isn't it? But I don't need sympathy. I can get along just on my own....Or, at least, I think I can.

Well, apparently in the house exactly next to mine a boy moved in. Around my age. What am I saying? Getting my hopes up like this? He won't want to be friends with a girl like me. Nobody does.
It's hard being rich. Sure, you get all the stuff you want, but you're kept from the world; homeschooled, never let outside without someone with you, stuff like that. Sometimes I wonder what it'd be like to live a normal life.
I recently moved. It's nice, I guess. Our neighbors, the Walkers, are jerks, though. I hear yelling from the house sometimes, and I wouldn't have guessed they had a daughter if I hadn't seen her watering the plants outside one day. Wonder if she'd like to be friends?

Bio: Mel was born to this family, but by the way they treat her, she might be a slave. Her mom is a witch, always screaming at her and cooing over her brothers(who are older then her!), while her dad is an achoholic and usually drunk, never making sense and hitting everyone in the family, including her mom. Her eldest brother, Kevin, is a complete b*****d. His favorite sport is using her as a punching bag. Michael is next, and he's not much better then Kevin. Jake is bad, but he's more concerned about his many girlfriends. Dylan seems to be the only one who has feelings for her, all though not enough so he doesn't join in beating her up, and rarely loses his temper on her, let alone anyone.
