The snow was getting deeper with each day it seemed, which presented new obstacle for the mare each day. A little snow wasn't much of a problem, but where it was deeper due to wind blown drifts it could be down right hard to push her way through. Synestra wasn't one to outwardly complain however, as she looked at the deep snow as yet another challenge to overcome, another chance to prove that just because she was little it didn't mean she was incapable of doing things herself. Yes, there were times when she needed a hand, like trying to reach an apple on a tall branch, but for the most part she was horribly independent.
Stepping high Synestra did her best to push her way through a patch of deep snow while above her snow covered branches occasionally bent too much under their weight of their burden dropping clumps of cold white snow onto the mare. The sooner she got out of those spot the better, and through the trees she could see an opening not far away, looked like a large meadow. It took several moments before she reached the edge of the trees and finally found herself within the meadow. Stopping she let out a triumphant whinny, only to have a large blob of snow fall from a branch and land smack on her head. This caused Synestra to take a few hasty steps to the side before giving her head a good shake, hoping that no one had been that.

Billy trudged through the snow, gritting his teeth as each hoof sunk in knee-deep into the snow. He wasn't such a fan of this weather, as it made travel more difficult. Not that it was too hard; it just slowed him down more that he would've liked.
The stallion couldn't help but grin triumphantly realizing the snow was starting to get smaller as he reached a meadow. Though he stopped to look a few yards ahead of him, spotting a small grey figure hobbling about, brow cocked, he called out, "You alright there?"

Just when she thought she had managed to go without being seen a voice called out. Synestra's head snapped up and glanced about until her eyes landed upon the large stallion. Well that's just great she thought to herself, he probably thinks I need help. Synestra was determined to prove that she did not need help, that despite her small size that she was doing just fine. Shaking her head to rid the last of the snow that clung to her mane, the small mare walked forward, pushing her way through the snow a bit.
"I'm fine." She replied to the much larger stallion now that she was a bit closer to him. "Just had a bit of a run in with that clump of snow that decided to fall from the tree." At least out here in the meadow the snow was not as deep, but even then it still slowed her down a bit. There were times, rare as they were, when she wished that she was a full sized Soquili, and today was one of those times. But at the same time, Synestra was grateful to be the size she was, it made her work harder for the things she wished to achieve, things that came easily to those who were larger.
