Are you hoping for a miracle? As the ice caps melt away. So everyone likes to talk about what they got. Well post here what you got, and maybe something you didn't get but you wanted. Or if you want, you can post what you got other people.
Also, happy holidays! <3
No use hoping for a miracle. There's a price we'll have to pay.

I got 17 pairs of socks, chocolate, a few little cats (not real) and an old fashioned ice crusher.
I gave juggling balls to one brother, new sheets to another, a video to another; a necklace and notebook to my mum and socks, sweater, and a hat to my sister.

Hello, and I hope you've had a merry Christmas!
Might as well say, this year I got more packages than I'm used to--though my sister helped that by wrapping every item she got me separately. There were a handful of DVD's given in my family, though three of them were from "Santa" to my dad. He must have had fun wrapping. Only two items have already been put to use, so I'll mention those and be done with it:
1. I was given a few pajama sets to try on and decide between, but while I was trying one on, my cat curled up and fell asleep on my temporarily discarded pants. I happened to be very tired, and there was a cute cat right there, so...I ended up sleeping for an hour in my new pajamas. 3nodding They work well.
2. I gave my mom How to Train Your Dragon, because she had wanted to go see it with me and my sister when it was in theaters, but we'd never gotten around to it. So, while the pizza was in the oven for our traditional starfruit & pizza trees Christmas lunch, we watched that. I absolutely loved the movie. It's just so shiny. Yeah...now I know why there's so much fan art. heart Happy kitty dragons rule!

Damn, I got almost everything I wanted. It was pretty fab.
Only thing I didn't get was a trench coat and a fedora, but those were replaced by a flapper dress and hat made with a real 1920's design, which is pretty damn awesome if you ask me. Totally made up for the lack of coat and fedora.
Other than that, I got two movies (Inception and Despicable Me), a lot of bling (several bracelets and two necklaces) to go with the dress, a Christmas story with Edward Gorey illustrations, two comic books (I'M NOT A GEEK) and JtHM: the Directors Cut, shoelaces, a Merry Jingly shirt, and, oh, yeah, a coupon to get my ears pierced(I've been asking to get my ears pierced since I was SIX, so the build-up was rather large). There was probably more, but it's not coming to mind right now. So yay!
Merry Christmas, everyone.

oddlyalli Gallery Of Suicide I got a pomegranate. That's all. /No lie. :c I've never had a pomegranate. Are they as fun as they look? Not really. You've got to cut them open to get at the seeds (only edible part), and there's the little bit inside the seeds that's not edible, so you have to have a little bowl to spit it into(Like grapes or olives), and if you get the juice on something fabric, you will NEVER GET IT OUT. But they're really tasty. I would suggest pomegranate juice, but not too much, because it'll be too sweet for ya.

I got many beautiful things! I got gift cards for Aerie and iTunes, cozy socks, tops, a sweater dress, various beautiful toiletries from World Market and Lush, Mac makeup (gel liner, pigment, concealer, mascara, and a beautiful bag), another pair of True Religion jeans, Josh Groban's Noel CD, and a pair of Gucci shoes.
To say that I am content is a gross understatement. heart

Since they're a little less flavorful, less stainy, and more green slime and spikiness.

I'm terrible at it, so I kind of hate it forever. I ended up not thinking about How to Train Your Dragon while it was in the theaters. I thought that was just as well, since our theaters charge, like, $15 for a ticket nowadays, but now I kind of wish I had seen it, not because it looks like a movie I would have liked, but because so many people expect me to have seen it, and I disappoint them every time. BUT I'M DETERMINED to see Megamind and Tangled before they leave the theaters, even if that means giving up a Klondike bar. Wait, what? I'm confusing myself. I don't even like Klondike bars. Nevermind.

I got books and chocolate. Most of my relatives just gave me money, which I am not complaining about. It feels a bit odd buying the stuff myself but I'd rather that than end up with something I really don't want and feeling guilty about not liking it...

Though you should try a pomegranate, because, regardless of all the negativity I seem to hold against them, it's one of those things you should try at least once.
