Personality – Smart and not afraid to give as good as she gets against Axel’s sometimes firey temper, she’s determined and occasionally motherly towards Axel. She isn’t afraid to flirt and to make sexual jokes towards him but is quick to point out to others who may say otherwise, that she is not in the least interested in Axel romantically. She is rather cool tempered and easy going, meaning she is the perfect Runner for Axel.
Bio – Sam grew up and went to school in Twilight Town. She also trained in martial arts, learning to fight well using a bo staff. As she entered college, she got bored with life and began looking for something new and interesting in her life. She drifted in her searches out of the town occasionally then one of the times she drifted, she found herself surrounded by Heartless. She fought against them hard but just as she was about to be overwhelmed, a man stepped out from nowhere and dealt with them with no problems. She stared at the guy wide-eyed as he opened a dark corridor then turned to her slowly and indicated to her that she could follow if she wanted.
Sam had only taken a few seconds to make her decision and followed him immediately, finding herself in a castle on the other side.
She began working as a general Runner, serving all the Organisation members, bringing food, delivering messages and dealing with the general day to day running of the castle. She was soon chosen to be Axel’s Runner. It turned out that Axel was the one who had helped her out with the Heartless.
As Axel’s Runner, her duties became more specific, helping Axel out with whatever he needed. She does the duties of regular runners for him but had other duties such as caring for his wellbeing were added to her job.
After a particularly bad mission and being admonished by the superiors, Axel returned to his room annoyed and began ranting and raving to Sam, who sat by and listened, figuring all Axel needed was someone to listen to him blowing off steam. Next thing she knew, she had to dodge Axel’s literally fiery temper, as he began torching the room. As she attempted another dodge from his flames, her arm and leg were caught, causing her serious pain from her burns. She fell beside his bed and failed to rise from there.
Axel continued to rage but was soon helping Sam to treat her burns. In spite of telling her to take several days off, Sam continued to help out Axel where she could.
Even now, nearly 3 years on, Sam bares the scares but hides them from Axel as she knows that the incident still plays on his mind sometimes.

Dress (Style, colours): Wears mainly black trousers, white blouse, black/grey sleeve-less jumper, trainers. She also keeps her iPod with her at all times too. When performing, she exchanges the jumper for a blazer and occasionally twins it with a black tie. Her trainers are also sometimes exchanged for shoes.
Philosophy of life: Life is great as long as you have music!
Hobbies/past times: singing, listening to music, photography and loves going to the cinema. Also loves to dance and has studied Charleston, ballet, Irish, cheerleading and street dance to name but a few.
Family: Just her parents, her mum and her dad.
Her mum lives in the north of England and, despite not liking the idea of her daughter all alone in London, she is greatly supportive of Arwen. Her dad lives in America and has met him, courtesy of the Doctor. Upon meeting him, she hated him as his dismissive attitude towards women really wound her up and now never speaks about him.
What kind of person is character with others (name persons and describe interaction):
The Doctor: Jokey and friendly. Is the main man in her life but is not interested in him romantically, just as a friend. Would jump at the chance of meeting him again and joining him on his travels around the universe…if he is willing to have her back
Her mum: Gets along with her but is at odds regarding her choice of place to study and the fact that she goes off “travelling with that man.”
Her dad: suspicious and doesn’t put much hope in ever meeting him. To her, the phrase “the only man a girl can count on is her daddy,” is not true.
Her fellow students: gets along well with them except one. One of the other student on her course in music college, who’s just as good as Arwen at singing and Arwen doesn’t like it as, prior to music college, she was always the best and was never rivalled. She just does not like facing the fact that someone else could potentially be as good as her.
Her teachers: respects highly and she is respected in turn by them.
Background: Arwen was born to an English mother and an American father. Her father left the moment he knew her mum was pregnant with her so has never known her mum. From being a toddler, she has sung, though not necessarily in distinguishable words. She was often asked to sing in primary school and briefly joined the choir too but found the song they sang were not to her liking so quit. In secondary, her mum put money aside so she could have professional singing lessons. Music was the only lesson she actually cared about in school and found she was getting bored in life. After doing her A-Levels, she applied to the Royal College of Music in London. She started her BA (Hons.) degree in Music but continued to be bored. That all changed when she met the Doctor.
After helping him to rid the college of a voice stealing alien (who also stole her voice during the adventure), The Doctor allowed her to join him in travels around the universe, having fun and occasionally saving a few planets and the universe along the way. She loved the travelling but after meeting her father and finding out how he was, she became slightly subdued. Her subdued feelings got deeper when their next adventure hit too close to home for Arwen and her mum almost died. This led to her decision to wanting to leave the Doctor and she told the Doctor that she wanted to go home. He agreed reluctantly, having enjoyed the fun loving teen being with him, and took her home. She returned to the Royal College of Music in London to complete her degree and is currently considering doing a year abroad to study…just not America!
