She was quite possibly one of the most dangerous people in the Negaverse... a loose cannon with a hot temper and a yoma for an arm. She was perfect for this little 'favor', she could guard what he now held for her better than most. He would not loose it, if she was the one guarding it. Bait for senshi who wanted to find it, and the perfect way to make sure it was not associated with any one person. He paced and his eyes glittered as he imagined the faces of the senshi seeing that glint of red in the possession of Tanzinite. Oh yes... this would be beautiful... He paced back and forth like a caged cat, his steps quick and energetic with the ideas that ran through his head. He couldn't wait... he couldn't wait to hear what they would do.
He reached into his pocket and closed his fingers around the clear crimson weight it gently free to hold it up to the light admiring it's perfection.

The plan was nothing short of brilliant, and Tanzanite had found herself impressed when first the Captain had asked for her assistance. Cooperation between agents of the Negaverse was not uncommon, but Tanzanite had never been known for playing particularly well with others. She was, for all intents and purposes, an attack dog. Chained and waiting for an opportunity to attack, so when Zink had approached her it had caught the purple-haired Captain off guard. Pleasantly so.
“Zinkenite,” she said calmly as she stepped out of the darkness. Snow was still falling, blanketing Destiny City in a silencing winter veil. The newest coat of snow had frozen overnight, and it crunched beneath Tanzanite's boots as she nodded her greeting.
“Lovely, isn't it?,” she smiled, a rare and somewhat unpleasant sight. Her gaze settled on the crystal, and the corners of her mouth pulled further into that wicked grin, “ They won't know what hit them.”

"Do they ever know what hit them when you are involved?" His smile was abnormally wide and his eyes glittered with a intense fervor and focus. "It is beautiful though, a great white icy shroud..." He offered her the precious cargo in an outstretched palm. "I am thrilled you replied, and accepted." He said earnestly. "I was afraid that you would turn this down, but it's such an alluring thing isn't it." He gazed wistfully at the the glinting crimson in his palm. "Such trouble over something so simple."

“And miss an opportunity like this?” She smiled, and shook her head in a way that made her purple hair tumble forward over her shoulders. This was a chance to strike fear into the heart of the senshi, fear such as they had never known from the purple-haired captain. Her gaze wandered out across what little they could see of the city, a place soon to be purged of the grotesque lunar infection and restored to it's proper glory.
And they would be the ones to do it.
“It's the beginning of something wonderful, Zinkenite,” she said, never using the shortened version. Tanzanite was almost painfully formal when it came to her interactions with other members of the Negaverse, with the sole exception of a particular blue-haired General, “You've served our Queen well. I'm sure her reward will more than match what you've done.”

"She may, though only I think if I do not fail in my other missions..." He bowed to her, respectful and formal. They might share a rank but Tanzanite had done this longer than he. She had 'seniority' as it were. "...It's my opinion that our best victories will be achieved working with those around us..." He nodded thoughtfully, perhaps more 'chatty' than normal but that was not totally uncommon when he was 'testing' the waters as it were.
"When you are done with that... we might pass it to another, don't you think?" He glanced up at her curious. She had a height advantage on him of course, he felt like a child in stature beside her. Never mind that her arm could no doubt crush his head like a mellon.

Tanzanite had a height advantage on almost everyone, and had not looked up at another officer since she'd last seen Obsidian. It was something that had served her as a disadvantage as a human teenager, in a society where height was not so much an advantage in the dating world. Of course, Aree Cadence had been just as obsessive as her Negaverse alter-ego, only with dance as her focus instead of the merciless slaughter of every lunar invader she could get her now-disfigured hand upon.
“Of course,” she murmured, reluctance clear in her tone. The opportunity that lay before her was invaluable, a chance to make them fear the Negaverse and possibly even cut down their numbers, “I would suggest Wolframite. He's loyal, capable,” her gaze lifted to Zinkenite, and she briefly considered the missing eye of the green-clad Captain, “And he has reason to loathe them as I do.”
Perhaps not quite as much - nobody had a reason to hate the senshi the way Tanzanite did as far as she was concerned - but he had reason enough.

"Very possible..." Zink nodded approving of the choice. He would want to be sure of Wolfram's aim before such a valuable thing was turned over to him. They could not risk it falling into enemy hands, not when they had just gained two of their own with no idea as to what powers they wielded. "I also considered Uranophane, thoughts?" He tilted his head at her as though he truly did expect an answer from her.

“Uranophane would be an excellent choice,” Tanzanite nodded. Despite her scuffle with her fellow Captain, there was no denying that the manfaced terror was more than capable of protecting the crystal and seeing that it was properly put to use. “I'm glad to see you exercising such caution with such a thing. I would hate to see it misused.”
“My plan will be going into effect soon. There are a few more...” She smiled, thinking of the small experiments that had been leading up to what she predicted would be a grand finale, “kinks to work out, but I don't foresee them being a problem much longer.”

That made him grin like a cheshire again, he nodded his head in respect to the idea. "I think.. I shall very much look forward to your plan, I hope the repercussions are nothing short of... energetic." The world carefully chosen and understated to say the least. "They should really know better." He narrowed his eyes in a spark of simmering irritation. "But they just never seem to learn do they..."

“They never will,” Tanzanite replied dryly, bringing her gaze up to meet Zink's. Her opinion of him had usually only ever ranged from apathetic to disapproving, without any shade of friendliness in between. Now, she looked on him with a certain level of respect, a grudging acceptance that he was not a complete waste of space after all.
It was a look she did not often find reason to use, as of late. Her opinions were usually set only by the group to which a person belonged, and only those in the Negaverse found anything short of her complete loathing. A few senshi had earned the grudging respect she owed to decent fighters, but it was mostly clear detestation across the board.
“I've tried to reason with them, to show them the light of the Negaverse,” Tanzanite sighed, and for a brief moment she looked truly saddened by their unwillingness to understand the truth, “Misguided fools. They'll have to die if we're to ever restore our Queen to her rightful place.”

He nodded thoughtful. "I... may have found one whom has begun to see the light." He let a thin smile creep over his face like a cat remembering the canary it has its sights on eating. "... it has taken some work though, if nothing else it has arrested her during that time from preventing the activities of my team." The smile widened at the thought, multitasking at one of its finer moments. "Too many are to blinded by their own convictions, they have no room to question anything and that is why they can't learn." His smile vanished to a hard and thoughtful line.
"I hope to hear from you soon in regards to your plan, thank you again for this opportunity and your participation." He bowed, sincere in his glimmer of admiration. Few in the negaverse could be considered as truly dangerous as Tanzinite. He rather wondered that anyone else could have survived her... transformation. The very thought made his eyes flick to her yoma arm but very briefly.
