~Battle for Magic~{An RP Brought from a Different Guild}

Story: The time is late Egyptian at the start of the Great Era of Magic. The world is controlled by 3 different creatures who use magic to control the 4 elements of Fire, Water, Earth and Wind. They are the Dragons (Large winged lizards who dominate the skies and are the origins of magic), Humans (creatures without fur or scales that have obtained magical abilities by drinking the blood of dragons), and wolves (canines who obtained the use of magic by either consuming the corpse of a dead dragon or human who obtained magic). For the longest of times Dragons ruled over the other two species because of their immense size and power to use of any of the 4 magics at will. Everything changed when the Humans fought back against the dragons. Discovering that they can wield magic by drinking the blood of a Dragon they quickly took advantage of the situation. So started the War for Magic Dominance. Both sides became equal forces to oppose. The humans had numbers while the dragons had more strength and magic control. However, as the war escalated both sides decided that they could use back up. So both sides began to try to negotiate a way to have wolves join their side. As the war escalates to a century worth of fighting it is up to the wolves to pick a side and end this war once and for all.

There are 8 key locations in the world. There are 4 human cities which are separated by a Mountain range that the Dragons have established as their main homeland. The 4 human cities are called. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. The dragons have 3 areas in which they inhabit. The Draconi Mountains, the Earth Dragon city of Orre, and the Ocean Iceberg city of Altomare. All land that aren't claimed by both sides belong to the neutral wolves.

You have the option of choosing to be a wolf either for the Dragons, Humans or could remain Neutral and join the war fighting against both sides.
You also have your pick of 1 of the 4 elements.
If you choose to join a side you can go to that sides base for an instant healing if wounded in battle.
If you are a Neutral then you have to locate a Hot Spring to heal over time.
Dragon Wolf's are the only wolves allowed to have wings. Unless the human wolf is a wind type.

Dragon Wolf: Is granted to have wings and super strength. Given a natural resistance to Fire Magic. Extra damage given from Water Magic. (+1 to attack dice when attacking)
Human Wolf: Is granted Healing magic but is more prone to damage than the other types. Given a natural resistance to Water Magic. Extra damage given from Earth Magic. (given special roll to recover health) *update* human wolfs can change into humans. (In human form they get +1 to defense on defense rolls)
Neutral Wolf: Gifted with Super Speed and higher dodge but takes extra damage from all magic based attacks. (can attack twice during post, gets +2 added to Defense dice when attacked, and +1 to all attacking dice when attacked)

Rules
1. No double posting
2. No single sentence posts.
3. No god modding. (meaning don't make your character incredibly hard to hit or do unspeakable damage all the time)
4. Follow Gaia guidelines
5. Up to 2 characters can be created per role player.
6. Use dice rolls when battling. (see next post)
7. No esp or mind reading. (Don't predict a person's actions or outcome)
8. Have fun
9. Romance is encouraged but keep it Pg-13.

Battle System: 2 dice policy.
When engaging in a battle roll 2 six sided dice. The first dice represents your attack. The second dice is your enemies defense.

Attack Dice: Results of 1-3 are missed attacks. 4-6 are successful hits on a target. A 1 results in a misfire and so you hit yourself. A 6 results in a critical which is double the damage.

Defense Dice: Results in 1-3 are a failed block. 4-6 are successful blocks. A 1 results in the enemy failing to block and dealing damage to themselves. A 6 results in a successful block with counter damage done to the opponent.

Each wolf is given a certain amount of health. Depending on which type of wolf you chose determines your health.
When a attack is successfully launched the number on the attack dice determines the damage done to the opposing side.
If an attack is blocked then no damage is received.
if a counter occurs then the number on the defense dice gets dealt to the attacker.
If a 1 is rolled on an attack then 1 point is automatically deducted from the attackers health.
If a 1 is rolled on a defensive dice then 1 point extra is dealt to defender.

Dragon wolf=18 health.
Human wolf=24 health
Neutral wolf=12 health

If your element is one that counters another type then you can add 2 extra damage to your successful attack. Fire counters Earth, Water counters Fire, Earth counters fire, Wind has no counter.
If you are a human you can roll 1 dice to heal your health. the results on the dice determine how much health you gain.

Example: Dice roll 4, 2= a successful attack on the enemy dealing them 4 damage.
Dice roll 5, 5= The enemy has successfully blocked your attack
Dice roll 1, 4= You have fumbled with your attack and have dealt one damage to yourself
Dice roll 4, 6= The enemy has successfully blocked your attack and has dealt you 6 damage.
Dice roll 6, 1= You have launched a critical strike with the opponent fumbling on their block. Damage dealt to enemy =13. (best result)
