Victoria stood underneath a large willow tree eating some apples she had picked from a tree that was only a few feet away. As she chewed her last apple she gazed up at the hills that were surrounding her. The sun was hitting the hills just right, making them seem like they were glowing. She wiped her mouth on her front hoof and then began to walk out into the open valley. Victoria began to hum a lullaby her mother had sung to her when she was only a child while she walked. Her thoughts were a sea of curiosity and confusion. She was unsure what her next move in life would be since she had recently just become queen of her uncles kingdom. He had left her the large valley that also had a flowing river, abondance of apple tree's and was filled with hills. Victoria stopped walking and humming when she heard what sounded to her like twigs breaking. She looked around and waited to see what was making the noise. Maybe it was a little fox that was hiding in the trees! That would be so cute!

Rajput grunted under his breath, not appreciating the feeling of the soft grass underneath his hardened hooves. It was too slippery and smooth unlike the rough sand of the desert. Walking slowly and ungracefully, as he snapped way too many twigs and branches, the stallion looked around wondering where would be a good place to stay for the night. His ears and tail flicked impatiently, "I swear," he muttered, "I'll be damned if I have to ask some stupid herd for a place to stay tonight."

Victoria bent down slightly as she crept closer to where the sound came from. When she reached the spot she noticed a stallion standing before her eyes. She stood up and walked closer. "Who might you be?" Victoria asked, slightly confused on why this stallion was in her territory. "Are you lost?" She asked, in a untraceable voice. She looked him over and gave a small "hmph", which could have been taken as a sign of approval or disapproval.

Rajput immediately backed up, his lips curled back in snarl (mostly out of habit when he met others for the first time) cracking more branches and twigs in the process. "I don't see why any of that is your business." he grunted, making a move to turn around and go back the way he came. Great, just as soon as he was ready to settle down for the night, along came Little Miss Princess already passing judgement upon him.
Not that none of that really mattered.

Victoria watched the strange stallion turn around. "Well you don't need to leave. And it has become my business because you are on my territory." She said with a smile. She quickly ran up and cut him off of his direction. "Come, it is late." Victoria said, looking kindly at the stallion. "If you go wandering off around this time of night you will come up against someone you wish you never came up against." She said nodding slightly. Victoria walked past him and back towards the direction in which she came, then turned around. "Well are you coming?" She said, a large grin crossing her muzzle.

Rajput scowled, ears flattening against his head, "No thanks." he grumbled, walking off in the opposite direction. He wasn't a fan of chatty horses, and he wasn't willing to spend the night wherever she would be going. If the rest of the herd was as chatty as her, he might just have to go drown himself in the nearest river he could find.
Before she could say anything else to him, Rajput quickly walked away, hoping she wouldn't follow after him.
