Well, not much seemed to be happening as of late, the building was at a lull at the moment. With many in the infirmary coming home from what looked like an awesome night out... Well at least for some of them anyways, not so much for those stuck in bed. Rising from her own, Kara shoved the bed hog of an Espeon off the foot receiving an earful from the pokemon. "Yea yea, lay off will ya!" Kara barked at the Espeon whom only rose its own voice. Throwing a blanket over Temptation, Kara was up and dressed, soon fed and looking for something to do. With one pokemon in a ball at her side and Temptation padding begrudgingly behind her, Kara headed to find the library. With a few wrong turns and getting herself hopelessly lost for a time. She finally made it to the place of pages and covers.

Shoving the door open, she walked inside the library and stopped. So many books here she didn't know where to start, having missed her own library at home, Kara was going to love it here. "Come on Tempt, lets see what we can find to read." Kara looked down at the Espeon that glared up at her, tail flicking behind her in irritation. "We might even find something for you to do as well. Bed hog." Kara grinned dawning a new Nickname to the pokemon whom growled warningly. "Alright, alright, but you are a bed hog, like it or not." Kara moved off as the espeon started in again, Tempt was soon almost left behind. This was going to be a long day and Tempt was already in a foul mood.

Her mind was out in the middle of a crashing sea, waves attempting to overturn the tiny raft she was using to break from the island to home.

"No, sea, I will not return to that island!" she cried to the open air. Salt tang scrubbed the insides of her mouth, the winds of a storm brewing raising her hackles to a pinpoint stand. "I want to return home! I want to see my husband again! I don't want to be alone anymore!"

The waves continued to work and collide, their simple duty to wash that woman back to shore. She clung for dear life until her attempt came to no avail, water engulfed the her nostrils and lungs as her raft overturned. Water swelled inside her mouth, brought her down to its depths, made it hard to breathe. She was a goner-

"Pfft!" cried Lennyka suddenly when she brought to her senses, water dripping from her dampened hair and face to the book below. She scowled to her Vaporeon who had caused it, and removed her glasses to wipe them clean.

"Stupid." she muttered when she pushed the spectacles back behind the poles of her ears. "Why can't you ever just let me read aloud in peace?"

The Vaporeon had turned its attention elsewhere, its head fins pointed upward to the heavens. It had sensed another enter the room and out of curiosity alone, wished to check it out. It hopped away from her owner's presence and flocked to where the other was.

"Stupid . . . !" called out Lennyka as her Pokemon retreated. It truly was an idiot.

It hadn't been so much that someone was reading aloud, probably to themselves or someone else with some dramatic effect. But it came down to the same voice started shouting at something and calling it stupid. With a tilt of her own head, not even bothering to glance down at the pokemon whom had once been at her side. "Well there's a curious thing." Kara muttered, not looking down to find the espeon had wandered off. Really, a leash would be in order if that cat like pokemon wouldn't stay close to hand. Shoulders sagging, she glared before walking towards where she had heard the voice. Rounding a bend in the shelves, Kara found someone a bit wet and looking quite out of the mood for company.

"Someone spoil your fun?" Kara asked openly turning to look at the shelf behind her. Focusing more on finding something to read then really speaking to anyone. "Some people or creatures can be such killjoys."

Books, lots of them, Temptation didn't think she could find anything of real interest here. wandering through the alleys of shelves, leaving her trainer to go else where in the room. She stopped looking to where her row was headed and what was headed her way. Another pokemon, tail flicking Tempt backed away and looked for another way to go. But sadly, there weren't that many places and diving through the books didn't sound too exciting either, being there was a wall behind the books. Gritting her teeth, Tempt pressed on, looking to pass the Vaporeon.

"Unfortunately, yes." croaked the rather upset girl, flinging strokes of suddenly frizzing hair out of her face and glasses. "She doesn't like it when I read aloud, you see. But by Arceus, if she just pulled that stick out of her behind, well, maybe we'd get along better."

She was really just talking to herself here. Not surprising, Lennyka had a tendency of finding her own company much more exciting than that of another. Wishing to be polite however (which was quite something, she was raised with some sense to be rude at times), she beckoned the woman to sit and slid the chair outwards with her foot.

"How about you? Person ruin your day too?" It wasn't surprising she was looking for empathy.

Curiouser and curiouser, why did this creature like to give chase? Maybe, just maybe she was just the one being chased herself? Nun fanned her tail up at down, tail fluke wafting wind behind her. In this library labyrinth, without Ariadne's thread . . . where would she be when the beast came?
