Merry Christmas all! Sam and I spent the day with his family enjoying sweets, good home cooked food, family, and presents. It was great.

My favorite Christmas memory though is from 9 years ago. It was my first Christmas on my own and my sister came up to spend it with me. My friend Wendy was also in a position where she wasn't able to spend Christmas with the rest of her family so we decided that the three of us would do Christmas dinner together. I bought the turkey and some other stuff and we were to go over to Wendy's that morning. The big morning arrived and I couldn't get my car to start, I don't know if it was too cold or what but Sarah and I decided to hoof it, since Wendy didn't live that far. So we walked the two dozen blocks to Wendy's with a half way frozen turkey in a back-pack that we passed back and forth. When we walked into Wendy's place we realized that it was only slightly warmer in there than it was outside. Her gas heater had given out in the night, luckily she had a space heater and her place wasn't that big. So we spent the day cooking, staying moving so we could stay warm, watching movies, and calling my dad for turkey cooking tips. What could have ended up as a horrible day instead turned out to be a lot of fun mrgreen

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I'm glad for both your past Christmas adventure Awen and your reset one. Moving around does sound like the right idea to keep warm, do tell how the food turn out at the end?

Well for me this has to be one the greatest. When over a close friend of the family we had not seen in 7 years and boy do things change, kids grow up and others are born. We had enjoyable time telling jokes, sharing stories and for once my mother who is always feeling alone in holidays felt glad and good. Which made me smile, but she was not the only one my father too was able to connect and odd as this sounds their happiness made me more happy than anything I could wish for.

Glad to hear it Shadow! When you coming back Renton! gonk

Chistmas was very nice this year, and it was busy! Time shared with family, though mosylt we stayed close to home. whee The gifts were varied and quite eclectic, A turntable for our vinyls, a ornate chess set, a book of lolcats, a very impressive Star Wars bust, and many movies besides!

A wonderful Christmas dinner with the fireplace roaring framed the night, and then we Guitar Heroed our way into the night. ^^ I ca't wait to see what 2011 is going to be like!

This Christmas had it's ups and downs, just like every other calendar day that I experience, but I am happy to say that the hills this year well overshadowed the valleys. The greatest part was that my girlfriend and son are finally finding acceptance with my family. Though the mariage bound side is still consumed with scepticism and self-righteousness, I do feel that gargantuous steps were taken toward a more joyful future.

Hopefully my visit with my friends on the 13th Floor will be longer than my last, it's been far too long.
