Here's something you want to know about seats: they are an integral part of the vehicle safety system. You are probably looking at some cheap Chinese Recaro knock-offs that has colours added to them, the chape changed slightly, and the frames and rails knocked up in a low-tech factory that didn't test them very well if at all.
The retention mechanism may fail in the squab and lay you out flat when hit from the rear. If you get slammed int the vehicle in front in that position, you will submarine under the belts and be crushed if the hit is hard enough to push the firewall back into the cabin.
Plenty of people are not aware of this, and that is why companies pushing cheap seats continue to not only do so, but survive and thrive.
There is only one name you can trust when you are looking for seats and rails: Recaro. Because they are more than good enough to supply OEM and meet road impact standards.

I can get brides though a pair from me is not as expensive as it should be, it is still more expensive than that. about $800 for a pair, where they are almost $700 a seat retail.

wow i never knew that, hopefully those seats dont kill my brother or ill feeel guilty since i got him it for Christmas. >.>
exclisor, i probably wont be buying anything for a car until another 5 years

^^^The seats will be fine unless he is hit or hits something hard. That's when the driver/passenger retention system comes into play.
