Dane still couldn't believe he had been talked into doing this ridiculous Santa gig. He was still sour about it as he got into the costume in the bathroom. The mall was just waiting for him, they had the whole setup ready and were just waiting for their Santa Claus. The green Santa wasn't really in the Holiday spirit knowing full well he got suckered into this purely because of his physique and possibly for a few cheap laughs. Regardless of his own Grinchy disposition Dane wasn't so much of an a** hole that he'd ruin the fantasy of hundreds of little children, he begrudgingly put on his best Santa act practicing for a few minutes before heading out to his post. The Santa setup was showy and elaborate as they usually were. A few people dressed up as elves keeping watch on the line and picture booth as a fake snow machine blew over the top of the display. In the middle of it all Dane sat in an enormous red and gold throne, his skin tone matched the entire scene perfectly, something else he silently begrudged. He did a great job at hiding his scrooginess though as he wore a 'jolly' smiled, ho'd, and held his belly as it shook like a bowl full of jelly as the kids lined up to tell Santa what they wanted for the Holidays.

A small hybrid child clung to his ogre father's ripped jeans, trying not to get lost in the sea of people that surrounded them. His blue skinned father had the look of a man who hadn't slept in weeks, his hair disheveled and his jacket ratty and his face still stubbled from the lack of shaving. Christmas has hard for both Coffee Shop Owners and Creatures of the Fae. Andy, was, unfortunately, both. Still, despite the lack of sleep and sensory overload that comes with the Mall, Andy was determined to get his son a picture with Santa.
"Next!" Called the pock-marked teenager in the elf costume. Soon the hybrid child and the Ogre were front of the line, and Andy got a good look at the poor sap playing Santa. He seemed just as perky as any one else would be in his position, and seemed pretty young for the part...Oh, yes, the fact that he was green was pretty eyebrow raising as well. However, to the young Churchill, this was the coolest thing ever.
"H-Hello, Santa." The gluttony boy said to the green skinned Santa as he sat on his knee.

"Look, Roman, there he is!" Charlotte bent down to wrap her arm around her son's shoulder as she pointed out the man of the hour. She was a little surprised at the green skin, but never the less, there he was. Christmas was a chaotic affair this year, seeing as there were exactly six spawn from the labs under one roof, and this one bit of Christmas wonder was going to be milked for all it was worth.
They joined the line, eventually ending up behind an Ogre and another winged boy. Not that Roman really cared. The Wrath spawn held onto his mother's hand, not by choice, and watched as the other boy took his seat.
Roman knew he'd been bad all year, so he didn't have very high hopes, but maybe....just maybe...

"ILLLLLY! ILY! ILY! ILY! SANTAAA!" Seth squealed, flailing his hands and pointing excitedly at the set-up within the heart of the mall from his sister’s shoulders. For once in his young life, the sloth spawn was practically bouncing off the walls at the very sight of the popular red-suited man and snow scene, completely the opposite of his usual demeanor. Thankfully his tail was wrapped firmly around Ilyrosa’s middle and his other hand gripping hers so as to not fall to the floor and be stepped on. A good thing she was so tall, it made her shoulders a perfect perch to see over everyone.
“Seth, I can see that. No need to make me go deaf, although I do suppose it’s my fault for letting you eat so many sweets,” Ily replied coolly, not bothering to snap at him for simply being excited at meeting a guy in a costume. As they neared, several familiar sights came into view for the older wrath spawn, specifically the massive ogre and younger wrath-blooded spawn. “Hm, looks like we’re not the only ones here. Isn’t that-“
“Church is here! Ily-,“ Ily laughed, placing a hand across her brother’s mouth. “Seth, hush. You can say hi to him when he’s done talking with Santa. No need to make me go deaf,” she giggled and was, for once, glad Seth’s shouting voice was closer to the volume of what people normally spoke at. At least he hadn’t requested to walk yet, since his height and naga form was perfect for being accidentally stepped on. “And give me that candy cane; you don’t need any more sugar.”

Dane was overwhelmed by all of the children wanting to see him. After the first couple hours he fell into a groove and got used to all of the children screaming in his face, tugging on his fake beard, jabbing his belly and pissing on his lap. Some kids were better than others and he was surprised that not all of them were wretched little brats but still, he was weary of each and every one. "Ho Ho Ho, why hello there little boy," Dane said in his best practiced Santa voice as Churchill sat on his lap, "And what's your name?" He asked peering down at him with a jolly smile.

"Um...Ch-Churchill." the gluttony boy said, still in shock and awe at the fact he was this close to Santa. He was just as amazing as he thought he would be!...Though Church had no idea that Santa was green and looked younger than his dad.

"Well now Churchill, have you been a good boy this year?" He asked putting a mittened hand on the young boys shoulder. Even though Dane would deny it to the day he died he really wasn't bad with children at all. "And what do you want for Christmas?" He followed up.

"Um...Well, I'd really like a new coloring book if that wouldn't be too much of a problem...A-Also my Dad really needs a new espresso machine since his other one is a lot of bad words I'm not allowed to use. Please?" Church asked. Churchill was wondering if he should offer some thing in return, since Santa did a lot.

Roman turned around to look at the squaking child with a snarl. Then he turned his head to the side and opened his mouth before shutting it. Wasn't that...?
"Roman, stop staring. It's rude." Charlotte tugged on his hand, only to have it yanked away. "Hey-!"
"S'okay, I know her." He smiled. The child stuck his hands in his pockets and looked back at Santa to make sure he hadn't missed anything before turning back to Ilyrosa and the...snake boy? "Seeing Santa?"

Was this kid serious? No kid was that good. Dane thought as Churchill told him all he wanted was a coloring book and something for his dad. "Ho ho ho, I'm sure I can bring you and your daddy what you want for Christmas, is that all that you want Churchill?" The green Santa said ruffling the boys hair a grabbing a candy cane out of his sack next to his chair for him.

Ily smiled down at Roman, being a good deal taller than him, and attempted to dislodge her brother from her shoulders. "Well, I'm not but my brother here is if he'd let go and calm down. Nice to see you again Roman, by the way. Seth, you really need to get down!" she replied to the boy, tone instantly becoming annoyed as her focus turned back to her brother.
Seth paused and looked with wide eyes at her, looking rather sad at the request. "Buh-buh... Okay," he sighed, releasing his hold with his tail and allowing her to place him back on the ground. As soon as he touched the floor, his arms immediately wrapped around her closest leg. Purple eyes peeked out from behind, watching Roman curiously.
"I'm guessing you're here to see Santa too?" Ily asked, looking back to the other wrath child.

Churchill nodded shyly, beaming. He of course wouldn't mind if Santa brought him another puzzle or two, but he really wanted another coloring book more than any thing. He couldn't believe that Santa ruffled his hair! Then gave him a candy cane! This was the best Christmas ever!

"Merry Christmas Churchill," Dane said with another jolly ho ho ho as the 'elves' helped the boy down and back to his father before they called the next child in line.

Ilyrosa's height didn't bother him so much as all of her colors. They reminded him of his sister, and that instantly brought down her coolness levels. Roman instinctively stepped back when Seth was placed on the ground. He was clingy. Roman didn't do clingy.
"Huh?" He looked back up at Ily. "Yeah, and I think it's my turn." He gave her a curt wave before walking up to Santa. When one of the elves reached for him to put him on Santa's lap, Roman growled and the elf was more than happy to scamper away once the deed was done.
In the meantime, Charlotte turned her attention to Seth. She bent down to his level, arms wrapping around her knees. "Well aren't you just precious. I like your tail. It's very cool."

Dane couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when the next little boy growled, at the elf. Though at the same time it kind of amused him, that particular one was the one who gave Dane the most crap about being a teenager and getting roped into playing Santa, he was just hoping this could wouldn't be growling at himself this whole time. "Why hello there little boy," Dane laughed jollily, "And what is your name?"
((Holy crap, jollily is a legit word XD ))
