The sky above grew darker as the sun drifted towards the West, making way for the night to take it's place in the sky. Eirik lifted his head, staring with narrowed eyes as the sun began its descent, and stretched slowly. Bidding goodeve to the Freeborn who had been tending his wounds from before, Eirik began the trek back to his familial den, curious as to whether or not he would be the first home.
He didn't doubt that he wouldn't. Eirik was forever coming home just as the sun disappeared from the sky, though where he went he often didn't say. Eirik was a shadowy cub, enjoying following others and sneaking around. If he was triumphant, it was just one more thing to be proud of. If he was caught...well. That would be a lesson learned, in the end. He kept his eyes open for any of his siblings as he passed other Reavers and Freeborns in the pride's territory.
How had he ventured so far from the den without realizing it? Hmmm.
Another yawn came unbidden from Eirik, and he grumbled under his breath, picking up his pace on the way home.
