So, now that you and Nammy are apparently all done, I'll just toss what I have into the mix. Pardon my bluntness, it's rather late; The zan is light-themed, but seems to have heavy fire aspects, which sorta, on a logical level, interferes with the second Shikai ability, as well as the um... other.. not-firey abilities. Might want to take a look at that.
Wait. Yeah, that's all I got. xd

Well, Bleach logic is... not. rofl Light is light, fire is fire. Though... fire does emit light, but that's hardly the point.
I'd suggest that, instead of making magicky flames, it can use light that burns. Hei does that... Bwahaha. Though, that still kinda makes the second Shikai ability random. I mean, to me, a light zanpakuto is supposed to deal with bending light and using it for attack. In terms of Pokemon, that ability would be considered Normal, no?
Maybe a Fire/Normal Zanpakuto?

Well, if the changed weapon is comprised of light energy and not suddenly metal, plastics, woods etc, then it should be fine. And yeah, I'm a little iffy with fire just erupting from bent light. Like I said, instead of actual flames, light that kinda moves around like fire and has burning properties would be better.

Anyway, what I want to deal with is specifications. Particularly, please state how many posts it takes before the concentrated light beams come from Tsuyatsuya's mouth and eyes since you said that it takes a moment to charge.
Sorry that I did not contact you yesterday. The Interwebz were giving me trouble. ...for not even I own it.
