It's just as it sounds, Germans versus the United States. You can play either side. Take in to account, the Germans are NOT Nazi supporters, SS, or a part of any other form of racist organization. The soldiers are not to be depicted as racist, and it is imperative to keep ordinary real life tensions separate from gameplay.
As well, it's just as it sounds; No Japanese, French, British, Italian units etc., unless otherwise noted. Your character can be of any descent, ethnicity, or religion, regardless of actual "side"; history dictates that this was possible, although not probable or very well documented.
