So I downloaded yesterday Touhou 12 UFO, and gave it a spin, believing it would be like Subterannean Animism which (as usual) gets difficult until level 4.
Holy ******** s**t, that game starts getting difficult right off the ******** bat since Nazrin's last spell card, on the first ******** level. I'll nevar, evar be able to reach Nue Houjuu at this pace. crying
Also, lol @ the difficulty level descriptions. Easy Mode is for those who have a life, Normal Mode is for those who are in the middle, Hard Mode is for NEETs who live in Gensokyo and not in the Earth, and Lunatic Mode is, well, for crazy-a** ********. 3nodding

I honestly didn't find UFO to be all that hard. I 1CC'd it my first time through. Unzan was scary at first with his danmaku brofists, but that was about it. I was a little surprised to see Nazrin shoot out bubbles on Normal mode though. Nue's pretty fun.

Well then I wonder what that would make me...>u>; I die on easy mode around stage four in UFO. :U~ I need a super super duper easy mode!
Well good luck! Nue's spellcards look interesting...not like I'd ever be able to get to them!

If I was as good as you... it took me like an entire ******** semester to clear Touhou 6 with 1CC, with max lives on easy mode against Marisa. crying

Today I got to Byakuren's 2nd Spell card on normal with SanaeA. Then I died cause shou took 3 of 6 my lives on "Most Valuable Vajra," Then I lost two more because one of her bullets wasn't cleared from the screen when I finally decided to bomb. Then a random fairy rammed into me on stage 6.

Easy Mode was a breeze though. I just couldnt capture Star Maelstrom.

Hey guys... is it normal that I can't get past level 3 of UFO without spending a continue, on easy mode, no matter what?
I'm starting to feel inferior for that... crying
