A long time ago, the gods' and goddesses' realms on Earth were fading. Some of the gods and goddesses placed a special blessing onto some of the people who worshiped and prayed to them. The blessing was passed down to the youngest child, who passed it down to their youngest child, and so on. Those people were called paradoxes. The god and goddesses chose this bloodline to place their blessing in because that paradox was the most like them. It is now present-day with all the electronics we have now and four kids have the blessing of a god or goddess. These kids were assigned protectors to make sure the kids don't get killed by monsters. Now that the kids know that they have the blessing, their lives are at stake. Monsters can smell them and some of the gods are trying to have them killed. The gods are furious that some of the other gods and goddesses placed their blessing into a family. They want the people in that family line destroyed.
And if a god or goddesses paradox was destroyed, that god or goddess would be gone.
Forever.

They call me Mary-Jane Ally Jordans.
But I also go by Mary-Jane, MJ.
I am 16 years old.
My life has gone like this so far: Mary-Jane was one of the most popular girls in school. She could get any guy she wanted. She grew up always trying to maintain her great reputation. Mary-Jane has been taking ballet since she was five. She loves it and how graceful the dancing is. She also enjoys ice-skating and thinks of it like ballet on ice.
Mary-Jane is used to having all eyes on her, but lately she feels a set of eyes on her, liked she is being filmed for some reality TV show. She doesn't like the feeling at all. She knows she may just be paranoid, but it's been happening for about two weeks now. She used to get them when she was younger, but they never lasted more than two days. Three days tops. It is really freaking her out and she doesn't think she is imagining anymore.
I kind of act like this: Mary-Jane is very outgoing and very flirty. She always flirts with boys just for the sake of flirting with them. She isn't athletic or all that smart, but it doesn't really bother her. She maintains a good average in all her classes. Anyway, who cares about amazing grades when there are boys around?

They call me Isabel Julie Smith.
But I also go by Izzi, Iz, Isabel Julie.
I am 15 years old.
My life has gone like this so far: Isabel grew up loving the beach. She always swam in her pool or at the beach every day she could and practiced all the time. She has always loved to swim and is 3rd ranking on her school swim team. This year she is determined to help get her team all the way to the finals and win the golden trophy for her school team. She is hoping to be captain next year for the team.
Isabel always knew she was different from everyone else. Weird thing happened to her over the duration of her life. She has been attacked by many monsters. People never believed her, though. Whenever she tried to explain it to her mom, she always said that it was her imagination running wild. She never believed it was her imagination, though, and always believed what she saw through her royal blue eyes. After a couple of times, she got tired of people telling her she was lying or joking or that it was just her imagination, so she just stopped telling people and kept it to herself.
Recently, though, she feels as though someone is watching her every move. There are a few new kids at school who seem to be watching her, staring at her, almost like studying her. She always feels like a bug under a microscope when near them. She didn't know whether she should tell someone, but she didn't feel like being called a liar again. She just ignored it the best she could, but it was hard. She hated the feeling that she was being monitored at all times.
I kind of act like this: Isabel is an outgoing girl who always loves to have a good time. She is very athletic and enjoys swimming. She practices every moment she can, but never forgets to balance it with the rest of her life like school and her friends and family. She will always find a way to fit all of those into her life, even if it is a bit challenging at times.

I am 15 years old.
My life has gone like this so far: Elizabeth grew up, living a normal life. Her parents both worked and she had a younger thirteen-year-old brother named Connor. She wasn't very athletic and she loved to read ever since she was four years old. She was constantly looking for new material and always re-reading books. She is very smart and achieved high-honors all throughout her middle school and high school career.
Lizzie was never popular. She wasn't a loser, though. It seemed like she always had a pair of horse blinders on - she never paid attention to anything someone said mean about her. It was never intentional, though. She just zones out at the right times. She always tries to surround herself with a group of close friends and hangs out with them a lot.
Nothing in Lizzie's life has ever seemed out-of-the-ordinary, just how she likes it. She likes to be logical. Up is up; down is down; vampires don't exist; immortality isn't real; everyone has to die at some point in their life. That's it. It's how life works. Period. The End. Whatever you would like to say. But that doesn't mean she doesn't love reading about stories of those topics. In her opinion, those kind of stories are the best, but it should be saved for the books.
I kind of act like this: My friends say I am a total bookworm. They said I couldn't go a day without reading, so we made a bet. I bet that I could go a day without reading. Of course, I lost. The consequences weren't the best. I also am a little shy around boys, but with my friends I am crazy and loud.

My life has gone like this so far: I am the Goddess of Love and Beauty. I came from the foam of the sea. I am married to the blacksmith, Hephaestus, God of the Forges. But I really love Ares, God of War. I have many immortal children such as Deimos and Phobos, the gods of fear and terror. Some of my symbols are the dove, the colors red and pink, and the herb vervain.
When my realm was fading, I placed my blessing into the Jordans' bloodline. Now their youngest daughter, Mary-Jane, has the blessing. But her life is in grave danger. The other gods have found out, and some want to destroy her. I know the guards are going to protect her, but I can't help to worry. The other gods and goddesses will stop at nothing to kill her if they want her dead.
I kind of act like this: I am very cunning. I can twist almost anyone around my little finger and bend them to my will without even having to break a sweat. I also have a temper and I am very vengeful. You do not want me as your enemy. I can act very innocent, but most of the time that means I am up to something.
