 Carles felt like a big boy now! Feeling very "grown-ed up", as he thought of it, and in charge. He was exploring beyond his normal boundaries. The sun was shining brightly and gleaming off his white coat. The juvenile pranced around, skipping, and leaping. It was a lot of fun! Out here all by himself.
There was so much to see and explore. That interesting smell that way. The damp smell of a cave coming from a hole over there. Carles meander his way around without any particular direction. He gave chase to a shrew, but when it got away he decided that he really didn't want it after all.

 A little stone was being batted back and forth by two blue-gloved paws. Sebahive was staring blankly at it as it bounced back and forth, not really paying attention to what he was doing and yet not letting it out of his sight.
The white juvenile really had nothing else to do... which wasn't surprising. His days mostly consisted of avoiding people anyway, and that left him quite a bit of time on his paws. He didn't feel like carving out more little critters from rock - he'd already done that WAAAAY too much to be healthy - and he didn't feel like sleeping. Or exploring. Or... anything other than sitting there.
The problem with this was that his thoughts kept drifting back to how lonely he was. His visions were supposed to stop by now so he could go on with his life, but they weren't! In fact, he had a suspicion that they were getting worse instead.
Sighing wistfully, he thumped his head down beside his paws and glared at the little stone in front of him.

Carles thought he knew approximately where he was, but he wasn't 99% sure. Not overly worried the youngster kept going. His mom and dad wouldn't worry about him yet. Strutting around, he suddenly came across another almost white juv male.
"Hey there!" He bounded up to greet the other. "Whacha doing that stone?" His green eyes were full of curiosity and good nature. His tail twitched in excitement. His first non-family member he got to meet! All by himself, his family hadn't met before. Well he assumed they hadn't and that was good enough for him.

Sebahive hummed quietly to himself, trying to consider what he felt like doing today after having exhausted all of his usual activities. However, just as he was about to give up and simply go force himself to sleep, he jumped when he heard someone talking - to him, he quickly realized.
His head swiveled around and he froze up when he saw the other feline coming towards him. White coat, obviously comfortable being here, familiar scent of the mothering lioness' den... he could tell that this was someone from his own pride, despite having never met him before.
Now Seb, being the anti-social juvenile that he was, could feel himself start to panic a little inside, but he carefully fought it down. "I, uh..." His voice was quiet as he spoke, "I'm just... playing with it."

"Well what are you playing?" He politely sat down and hoped the other would invite him to join in the game. "I'm Carles. What's your name?"
He was excited. Maybe this guy had a new game Carles could learn and take back to his brothers. This one seemed very quiet and shy; something Carles wasn't use to with his own family. He hoped he hadn't startled the other too badly when he approached.

Sebahive shuffled his paws in front of him for a moment, unsure of how to react. He wasn't sure how this other cub managed to sneak up on him... well, alright. He hadn't been paying attention, so it was no wonder someone had noticed him before he could hide himself.... Back to the matter at hand, how did he act in this situation?
Seb rolled the questions the other juvenile - Carles, he said his name was? - asked around in his head, before he opened his mouth and softly answered back, "I'm Sebahive... and uh, I'm just tossing it back and forth." His ears flattened against his head, "I can't really decide what to draw on it, so..." He trailed off with a shrug.

His ears twitched slightly. That sounded like a funny thing to do with a stone, but Carles was up for it. He turned on his butt and curled his tail around so Sebahive could see it.
"How about drawing my tail?" He loved his tail, actually he loved all of himself. Carles was positive he would grow up to be a handsome adult cheetah male.

Sebahive blinked, casting a glance down at the tail, then back up to Carles, and finally back down. Well this was an interesting request - both because he had never drawn something like that, and because he had never actually taken requests before. Of course, no one had ever asked him about it either, so perhaps that was why.
Musing over it, he finally nodded slowly, "... Alright." He paused to study his tail first, noting that it looked a lot different from his own. 'Huh.... Wonder why I didn't notice that earlier.' Giving himself a mental shrug, he leaned forward over the rock and started scratching at the surface, slowly but surely carving out a long, curly shape. He paused after a moment, head tilting to the side in thought, and then began digging out checkered marks on the end of it.
It was tedious and sometimes time-consuming, but at least it distracted him from everything else, including talking.

Carles was delighted! He wasn't sure his new friend would go along with it. The juv congratulated himself on giving Sebahive something interesting to put onto the rock. There was certainly worst things that might have been put there.
He wiggled his paws. Carles was doing the best he could to keep still. It was all very hard. With that scratching noise Sebahive was making, he just wanted to jump up and go look at it. Still he thought he was suppose to be keeping still. That's didn't stop the upper half of him though. The lion was only using his tail, that left his head free to crane over trying to see.
"So how long have you been doing this?" His green eyes evaluated the rock. Was it just the right size for a bracelet or maybe a necklace? Carles wondered if the other would be willing to part with it.

His ear twitched at the question, and he glanced uncertainly up at the other feline. His scratching slowed for a moment while he considered it, before he shrugged and said, "Awhile." His gaze moved back down, "Back when I had to stay in the den all the time. I couldn't find much else to do so...."
Sebahive stopped to observe his carving and then nodded, lifting himself up and away from it. He had made sure to dig out the markings so it wouldn't look like any old tail, and it turned out pretty good. Well, in his opinion it did.
With an uncertain blink up at the other cub, he turned his gaze off to the side and finished his train of thought, "I just started carving stuff."

"Oh," Carles twitched his ears. He knew how boring it could get in a den. Lucky for him he had been able to go out whenever he wanted. If he had gotten confined to the den, Carles didn't know what he would have done.
"That was pretty smart of you." He complimented the other. Seeing Sebahive get up, he jumped to his feet to look. "Oooooooh! That is so cool! And you can do that with anything?" That was impressive.
While Carles was impressed by the lion's still, he didn't think rock carving was for him. It seemed very tedious and hard.
