ZONE 4: SANDY CLAWS' WORKSHOP THROUGH THE BLUE DOOR crossing time: ??? Finally, you've arrived at the goal! As you approach the giant building that overlooks all of Christmas, you see a gnome standing at the doors. "We've got your perimeter taken care of. All you gotta do it get in, grab the loot, and get yourselves out, got it?" Looking left and right you see several other gnomes sitting cross-legged with their eyes closed. "What?" Door Gnome asked crossly, "You thought we'd just abandon you?" Yes, you did actually. "Well, normally we would have, but this here is different. This here is about ELVES. And Sandy Claws. BUT MOSTLY ELVES!" He looks at you all squint-eyed for a moment before nodding to himself. "We went ahead so we could put up a barrier of sorts, help you snots out a bit once you get inside. Things'll be a bit different things time around." With those less than useful but slightly reassuring words, he opens the door and you walk into The Workshop. Five doors stand in front of you. Each a different color. "Each path leads to the goal, so just pick one and get going!" You go through the blue one. Quote: The OOC: This zone is only for those who pick the BLUE door. There's no set time for crossing this area, the final goal will have to be unlocked instead! Thanks to the gnome's barrier, the battles rules have changed! Be sure to read the post below!

BATTLE INFO This will be a GROUP BATTLE. When the area boss attacks, it will affect everyone who has posted in the thread before that attack post. TENTS WILL NOT WORK IN THIS AREA. If you have entered the area at all, your student will be getting attacked along with everyone else! The battle will consist of rounds. Each round begins with the boss's attack. You may each attack once per round. KO- due to the barrier, a KO will not zone you back to the Infirmary! You'll just be passed out on the battlefield! - after 24 hours, your character will be able to "revive" with 15 HP. Regular Attacks- are unlimited as long as your character isn't KO'd - are a simple melee attack (punch or kick or ankle biting or w/e) to use: - roll 2 6-sided - subtract 6 from your total - the final amount is your damage (getting a negative number with a regular attack will not decrease your HP) JOY Weapons- Due to the concentrated power of the workshop JOY weapons ARE NOW USABLE MULTIPLE TIMES IN BATTLE. The exception being the Tangled Lights! Those are destroyed completely after one use and will not be usable again! Also: the roll for Carol of the Bells has been changed!Christmas Wreath -> A circle of green complete with lights. Throw onto the enemy. There's a lingering smell of burnt plastic in the air... Roll 2 6-sided dice. If the first roll is even, you hit. If is odd, you miss. The second roll determines how much damage you did if you hit. Examples A Hit Hitmon rolled 2 6-sided dice: 6, 2 Total: 8 (2-12) 6 is an even number, so it hit! Sadly it did only 2 damage. A Miss Hitmon rolled 2 6-sided dice: 5, 2 Total: 8 (2-12) 5 is an odd number, so it didn't hit. Disregard the 2, it does nothing. EXTREME SNOWBALL LAUNCHER 5000 Roll two 8-sided dice. The first dice is the amount of damage you deal to your opponent. The second dice is the unfortunate backlash done to you. Example A Hit Hitmon rolled 2 8-sided dice: 3, 6 Total: 9 (2-16) Damage done to opponent: 3 Damage done to self: 6 This weapon never misses. It will ALWAYS hit your opponent AND yourself. A Sack Full of Joy Reach in and start bombarding your opponent with random trinkets. Roll 3 6-sided dice. Damage done is the AVERAGE of the numbers rolled. If the total is EVEN, you hit. If the total is ODD, you miss. Examples A Hit Hitmon rolled 3 6-sided dice: 4, 2, 1 Total: 7 (3-18 ) 4+2+1 = 7 7 divided by 3 is 2.3. Round to the nearest number and it's 2. Because 2 is an even number, it resulted in a hit for 2 damage. A Miss Hitmon rolled 3 6-sided dice: 3, 3, 4 Total: 10 (3-18 ) 3+3+4 = 10 10 divided by 3 is 3.3. Round to the nearest number and it's 3. Because 3 is an odd number, it resulted in a miss. Yellow Snow Do not eat. ---SUPPORT--- Tangled Christmas Lights Chuck the ball of tangled lights at your opponent. Roll 1 6-sided dice. If odd you missed. If even, your opponent can't move for one turn. Examples A Hit Hitmon rolled 1 6-sided dice: 4 Total: 3 (1-6) 4 is an even number, so it hit! Your opponent cannot move for one turn. Except by the time your opponent frees themselves, the lights are too smashed to use again. A Miss Hitmon rolled 1 6-sided dice: 5 Total: 5 (1-6) 5 is an odd number, so it didn't missed. Your lights bounce and roll off to one side before a group of forest critters run up and steal the lights to decorate their own Christmas tree with. Carol of the Bells It's a bell. Ring it and restore someone's HP by rolling 1 8-sided dice. Example Hitmon rolled 1 8-sided dice: 7 Total: 7 (1-8 ) Hitmon has healed somebody for 7 HP, either themselves or another person. The bells cannot miss

Reaching the five doors Eracs decided to go towards the blue door. He wasn't sure why, he just liked blue! Loot? Like what he got? More presents, awesome! He just nodded at the gnome and went through the blue door.
No one else had gone inside but him. Great.

Eracs was soon joined by the wolf, he'd nodded to the Gnomes words before taking the blue door. Howling and yipping in excitement, and to let his friend know he was here.
Looking around he blinked and sat down slowly. Titling his head, ears laying flat against his head. How odd...they were all alone in here...well that may not be very good, no idea what they may come up against after all. He was sure that here of all places something very hard to fight and beat would be, it would make sense after all.

Draven had hurried past the gnomes with Alerick. He entered the blue door, following Alerick.
Eracs was the only other being inside. All alone....it was eerie, and not in a good way. Not being able to see anywhere else to go, it seemed there was only one thing left to do. "I guess we wait?"

Behind this door is... a wall. And yet another wall! So many walls! However, this may work out in your favor, smoke billowing out from between the walls as you enter. It takes quite a few steps into the mist for someone to figure out where exactly it is you've stepped into.
You're in a maze!
Smokey and dark, it takes some time to find baring in the series of hallways, though from the sounds of clacking and whirring, it's obvious that the group is not alone...
The sound of whirring can be heard getting louder, accompanied by the sound of headphones and a loud high pitched voice singing along as something moves through the hallways. Maybe if you're quick, you can duck into somewhere to hide! It seems that this time, the Blue Santa Scout has passed the small group by!
"I wanna beeee the veerrryyy bessttt Like nooo scoouuttt ever waaaaasssss To beat them is my real quest for the Sannttaaa Cllaaaaauuusssssss"
Will he attack you soon? Possibly!Depends on if he goes deaf from his own singing or not.
For now, hiding and coming up with a strategy may be wise! HP: 99Further Instruction! You have an Undetermined amount of time to attack the Blue Santa Scout in. It depends entirely on how long it takes him to find someone in his maze....

"Guys you both made it! No one else is here yet, must have taken the other doors." That is when Eracs noticed where he was. Walls? OH. This must be one of those maze things he heard others talking about! It wasn't very easy to see in there either. "You guys, I don't like this way anymore..."
Bump, bump. He heard that Blue Santa Scout approaching. Eracs whispered and ducked away from the robot. "Guys, I think we need to sneak through this place without drawing that things attention." That thing looked amazing though. How did it work? Why was it blue? What made it work? So many questions! But the last things they meet where not friendly so this wouldn't either. "Which way?"

Myr had waited for a few minutes by the door before he had gotten up the nerve to enter. He didn't expect his luck to hold out much longer, but that was nothing new.
Once he entered though, stepping through the mist, he discovered himself to be in a maze. This wasn't good.
"Hello?" He said, glancing around to see if any of his fellow raiders were around. He hadn't seen anyone as he enter, and he assumed that they must have already gone deeper into the maze.

Draven watched the giant mechanical thing lumber by. Wow, he had a bad feeling that it was going to cause them some pain. "I don't know if we can sneak past it," he whispered to Eracs. They could try, but he had a feeling if it knew they were there...that it wouldn't let them get far without a fight.
Draven thought he heard the door open behind them. Perhaps there were other students coming into the room? If there were, that would be great, he figured that his small group could use the help. He wanted to stay quiet, so he hoped the newcomers would find them...they hadn't gone very far into the maze, so far.
Draven reached in his bag and pulled out the Tangled Christmas Lights he had grabbed so long ago. Maybe now was a good time to use them? "I...I'm going to try something. I really hope these work..." Draven stepped back onto the path the robot had just walked down, and hurled the lights at it's back.
--
And missed. The ball of lights sailed uselessly past the robot, hitting the wall of maze and bouncing onto the floor. Draven gulped. Now it was going to know where they were. Not his best move ever.
((Draven: HP 25 Tangled Lights: Miss! -I believe they are lost now xD ))

Eracs saw the new person and tried to get their attention. "Shhh, there is a giant... thing in here, blue metal thing!" That moves, awesome.
He looked to Draven. "This doesn't look to fun..." But was it truly ever going to be? Sighing, the scarecrow went to his only attack that worked before. He tore off his arm and tried to hit the robot. Luckily that gave him some distance so he didn't have to get to close!

Alerick had stared at the large, blue, metal...object lumbering around. Glad that it didn't seem to see he and his friends, someone else had joined them, he watched Draven and Eracs attack it and wished he could also. There wasn't much he could do right now.
Perhaps his body decided to play nice, or luck was on his side, but he felt himself shifting till he was human again and on two feet. "Draven...my pack." He stated while grabbing for it so he could pull out the snow ball launcher.
"Glad I'm human like this." So he could do this....Taking aim he pulled the trigger, hoping to hit the thing where his two friends had not. (HP Before attack: 23) (HP After attack: 21)

He heard Erac shush him, but it had come just after he had seen the giant robot shuffle by, and he had gone silent on his own. He didn't want to draw anymore attention to himself than he had to.
Still, he did have that sack of joy, and after a moment of thought, pulled out a handful of golden trinkets, pelting them at the robotic monster.

The scout seems to realize it's bot isn't exactly being the most happy of things after a few crunching noises. However, as he fusses with his controls, one of the bots arms swings and knocks one of the walls back and forth. It hits anybody hiding within the maze, but if you're quick, you can realign the walls to stay up and keep hiding without the scout noticing you! HP: 93Further Instructions! You have an undetermined amount of time to attack the blue Santa Scout! It all depends on how quickly he finds anybody. (PS; My attack -will- be within the next 12 hours, and feel free to post interactions outside of attacking. I'm just too busy to be specific with when my attacks will be. c: )

He was able to realign the portion he was hiding behind without much trouble, although he was slightly annoyed. He didn't like being injured, even if it wasn't by that much, and he frowned at the scrape that the robot had inadvertently given him.
He pulled out a handful more of trinkets from his Bag of Joy, since it had worked fairly well the first time, and pelted the robot once more.
