He thought that when he moved in with her, his schedule would have gone away. But no, he was still able to go the places he went before he'd met the scarred up ugly girl. Kellie got on his nerves on occasion, but she did give him some money to go out and get bread. Like he needed it. As of right now, Nagendra was in the bakery, smiling innocently at the lady behind the counter, "Hey! Can I have some of that?" His eyes watered slightly, a trick, his tail flicking back and forth behind him, "I really would like to try some...but....Living on the streets..." His finger stayed pointing at a sweet roll. It would take a minute.........but patience was a virtue.

Rhiloss grumbled softly to himself as he padded down the street toward the bakery. Why did -he- have to be the one to go buy crap today? Already, he'd been to the butcher's and a little fruits and vegetables stall. This place would be the last, but he was already tired and weighed down with various packages. At least the weather was getting nicer - which for him meant -colder-. He rather liked winter, thank you very much. A week or two ago, the pale Scent would likely have utterly refused to go out on such an errand, however, and not only because of the weather.

But Ka getting hurt because of him ... it had scared him. And though neither Ka or Far knew the truth of that, he was still being careful - at least around them. Anyone else was fair game. Pushing the door of the bakery open, he sighed as he saw some little kid with a tail at the counter. Great ... now that he was older, kids that age just annoyed him.

He cooed at her, still teasing her with his watering eyes, and he waited only a few more minutes. And then it was in his hand. Wasn't that easy? He smiled sweetly at her, and bowed his head, leaning up to kiss her on the cheek, "Thank you, miss!" He turned. Upon spotting Rhiloss, he grinned at him, a mischievous look in his eyes, and his teeth bared. This was his ground, and one he knew all too well.

Rhiloss blinked when the woman behind the counter suddenly handed over a sweet roll to the kid. And he didn't even -pay- for it! Just thanked her and ran off, giving Rhiloss a -look- like he owned the place. If not for that look, Rhiloss might have just let it go. There were kids all over the streets lately that were hungry and cold... but not with -that- kinda attitude. "You're just gonna let him leave without paying you?" he snapped at the woman behind the counter. Then he made a little 'tch' sound, and dropped his stuff in a corner to chase after the kid. A lot of those street kids -did- have money, but they'd trick anyone into just giving them crap anyway. Besides, that kid had looked a bit too healthy to be a street kid. And there was something else familiar about him...

Quickly darting out the door of the shop, Rhiloss looked around, and spotted the tip of a white tail disappearing around a corner. "Hey! Kid!" he yelled, taking off after the glimpse of white.

'Gen smirked and spun on his heel, still darting backwards as Rhiloss chased him. His tail helped with that, feeling the way behind him, while keeping him balanced. "Gotta be faster than that, Whitey." He teased, winking, and blowing him a kiss, before spinning back around, and darting into an alley. Bouncing on top of a garbage bin, and up to a wall, he watched and waited. This was such a fun game! Why couldn't he keep someone like THIS around?

Rhiloss's eyes narrowed at that and he poured on speed - glad now for his slightly longer legs. Though he still wasn't as tall as say, Ari, he -was bigger than this kid was. And if the kid was running, he obviously knew he'd done something wrong and didn't give a crap. Rhiloss's method of getting up onto that wall wasn't quite as graceful or practiced as 'Gen's, but it worked. Then he balanced carefully and took a step toward the other. "You stole that."

'Gen grinned, "I didn't STEAL it. It was a gift." He faked indignance, and huffed, smiling sweetly at the other, "It's not STEALING if it was given to me. Seriously. What an accusation!" He sat atop the wall, just watching Rhiloss now. It was getting boring, quickly, just having him accuse the younger of stealing. Really? How mean.

"Semantics," Rhiloss snapped, waving a hand. "You tricked her into giving it to you with those big eyes, didn't'cha? That's pretty much the same thing, kid." With a little sound that was almost a growl, he advanced another couple of steps.

He looked up at him, and let those green eyes water a bit, lashes long, and his fingers gently moved his hair over to the other side of his face, giving Rhiloss this tiny apologetic smile, "I'm really sorry....I'm just so hungry....My mom....she doesn't feed me enough.." A lie, but still.....

Rhiloss stared for a moment or two, then snorted. "Bull. You look healthy enough to me." That s**t was -not- gonna work on him, especially with how fast the kid had just run. "You've probly even got money, haven't you? Fork it over and maybe I'll forget I ever saw that." He smirked, holding a hand out.

Time to pull another tactic. THAT was HIS money. He was SO not letting it out of his clutches, "Aw..." Standing, the Dragon's Blood Scent sauntered forwards, running a finger slightly over the pale Scent's chest, letting out a slow breath, "You're really going to be that mean?"

Rhiloss blinked at that. Wait a second here. He'd seen -this- kind of attitude before. Was this kid... -really- trying to ... come onto him or something? A -kid-? Ari was one thing, and he'd always admired the other... but a kid he didn't even -know-? Rhiloss took a step backwards. "Just what th'hell was -that-?"

He smiled, a calm, smirking smile, with those eyes calm and cold, tossing a bit of his bangs aside. SO that really worked? He'd seen a guy do it once on the street. It was kinda fun. "What do you mean? I just asked you a simple question. Are you really gonna be that mean, to take what little cash I have? His eyes watered again.

Rhiloss's eyes narrowed at that and he moved quickly - aiming to grab the other's wrist before he could get away again. It might work on -some- people, and yea he'd been surprised... but that was about it. And the surprise had only been because this was a kid. After all, he was used to -Ari- on a daily basis. "Yea. I am."

The draconic Scent cried out in horror as this male touched him, looking horrified. Why did he think he was qualified to touch him like this?! 'Gen's eyes narrowed, and he growled darkly, tail flicking at Rhiloss' ankle, trying to knock him away from him. or at least off the damn wall. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" He screeched, angrily. Not until this guy was gonna be nice. Nagendra didn't want a bruise...

Rhiloss wavered a bit but didn't fall off - though he did have to fling his arms out to the sides to keep his balance. "Hey! Th'hell! You're the one that stole something and then tried to use some kind of little... kiddy wiles on me." He got himself balanced again and crossed arms over his chest. "My brother is a lot better at -that- than you are, by the way. And he's actually older than me. Meaning it's not gonna work."

He huffed, and tossed his hair, eating the roll, with one hand, before jumping off the wall, "You're boring. More boring than my stupid guardian. She's so intent on those stupid cars," Nagendra whined, "Not even enough time to take me to do what I WANT to do." That WAS more important, after all. 'Gen was ALWAYS top priority. Sure, he was bothered that Rhiloss didn't like him, but he'd come around. They always did.

Heh... so he'd been right. Not only did the kid -have- money, he probably had a lot, if his guardian worked on cars. Only rich people had those. So Rhiloss could only assume that someone who worked on them would get paid a lot. "Yea, and you're a liar. I knew that you were," he drawled almost casually, hopping down off the wall as well.

He spun again, watching the other, "Hn. I'm not lying. You should see the hovel we live in. Lower-middle class isn't very fun." Pouting, he stretched, "She puts most of her money into that damn car shop of hers. It's irritating. She afford so much more!" He whined, just bitching now, "You know....What little I get from her is mine." HIs eyes flashed, "All mine."

Rhiloss just shook his head at that. "I'm sure if she really works on cars you guys have got more money than that." Idiot ... did this kid think he was stupid or something?[/col]

He held out a very small amount of money, enough to only buy one sweet bread. Seriously. Kellie was a miser when it came to her money! Waving it in front of Rhiloss, he cooed, "This is MINE. All. Mine." The boy snapped at the other Scent. The young Serpent's kiss Scent was eager, now more than ever, to get this white one to like him.

Rhiloss rolled his eyes slightly. Geez, even if he -wasn't- a street kid, he sure acted like one, being all tight-fisted. "Yea...? And it -should- be that lady's in there. What if she's got less money than you and your guardian, huh? How's it fair you get to keep it, when you took somethin' from her that she's selling?"

He snorted, "Have you SEEN the business her shop gets? She'll be fine. I wanted it., and I DESERVE it." 'Gen really DID think he deserved it. Seriously. He gave Rhiloss an irritated look. Honestly, who did this boy think he was? Tch.

Rhiloss eyed the other at that. "Mmhm. And I believe -you- have more money than you're claiming too. So what's your point?" Geez, this was turning out to be more difficult than it should've been. And he still had to get the stuff on his list and get home. Before someone wondered where he was and sent Ari out to look for him or something.

He rolled his eyes, "I DON'T, okay." Then his eyes lit up, and he grinned, "Unless you want to search me for it." The boy was teasing, his smirk wide. Tongue flicked from his mouth, as he reached a finger up, and toyed with a lock of his hair, "I have NO objections to that."

Rhiloss stared for a moment, then snorted. "Heh. Like I said, my brother's much better at that." He rolled eyes slightly. "And you might have better luck with someone your own age, kid." Sure, the other was exotic and all ... and Rhiloss was starting to wonder just where the 'extras' came from - but at the moment, he didn't compare to Ari.

'Gen shrugged, and turned again, laughing, "Your loss then. But I suppose..." If it meant this guy would shut up, and like him already..."Here." He handed him the money he'd been given, "Can we be friends?" He asked with an innocent smile.

There was more blinking then - seemed to be doing a lot of that in this conversation. "What?" he asked ingeniously. "Just like that...?" Geez, who -was- this kid?

"........" It wouldn't work? Seriously? What was the damn point then? That was NOT nice. "I'm offering it, IF you'll be my friend." That smile stayed on, "That's the condition~" He cooed.

Rhiloss thought about just... walking away. This was pretty stupid after all - he'd chased the kid with the intention of making him pay for the roll, not making nice and being friends. But Ka and Far were always saying that he needed to meet more people. So he just sighed and said, "Fine. I'm Rhiloss."

"Great~ I'm Nagendra." He tipped his head to the side, and pressed the money into Rhiloss' palm, before looking back down the street, towards Kellie's garage, "Kellie will be done soon, so I better go. Maybe I can see you again soon~ You should come visit the garage. And do it soon!"

Rhiloss just ... watched the other as he ran off - eyeing the money he was now holding. He didn't get this kid at all really... but maybe if he got to know him a bit, it would make more sense. "Ugh..." he muttered to himself, shaking his head as he turned to head back toward the bakery.
