Based in a fantasy world with humanoid species, our tale is that of the intertwined fates of an unlikely group of individuals. The humans of this world are occasionally born with magical ability but are most often forced to rely on acquired skills of a physical or intellectual nature. None of the species are able reproduce with a different species. (No hybrids.)
This is the tale of a group of heroes and a group of villains. The heroes of this tale are those that have answered the king's call and been accepted into the ranks of the Civilian Guard. These are people of the kingdom that have volunteered to do work more difficult than that of the knights, with a lower status for it, more risk in tasks, and a small wage. There is the hope of glory and to rise above the rank of peasant, but only if death can be avoided.
Our villains are a group, that is assembling outside the kingdom in a land unclaimed by any monarch. They control a black market and underground through the kingdom of out focus, and have spread their web to others as well. What is their goal? That information doesn't exist. All that is told to the CG is that they are criminals that undermine the order of the kingdom and the divine right of the Monarchy.

This is a plot based roleplay. Roleplayers choose to be on the Civilian Guard, or in the Organization of Evil. There is no defined hierarchy, but I'm sure that some character will end up viewed as leaders. I will send orders to the characters on behalf of the CG or OE to help guide the plot.
The general idea is for this plot to eventually reveal the motives of both sides and have the characters and roleplayers question who is the bad guy and who is the good guy.
The rules are simple.
-Respect all posters in this thread; this includes myself, but also fellow roleplayers and any OOC visitors that stop by to comment or give advise.
-Guild-Wide Rules, Classes Rules, and Gaia ToS apply.
- PM all characters to me.
- Have all characters remain in character.
- No hybrids, I don't want to think about beastality or something like a giant finding a way to procreate with a being smaller than their genitals.
-Play nice and have fun.
Profiles are to be done as you wish. PM me what you want posted, but if you left a lot out have it written out in a word file on your computer because I will likely ask for it before accepting your character. Granted, there shouldn't be much of a reason to leave out an outline of the character's past.

Heroes:
You will begin in a camp. Your training has recently been completed and you have been assigned to a camp to await missions, which will break up CGers into teams. This is on the scale of the camp being really big, and I doubt we'd have more than one team of played characters.
Villains:
Similarly, villains are within a compound of a lot of others, where they live until deployed. Unlike heroes, villains may begin with some background in the organization. There will be individual tasks, paired tasks, and team tasks.
