"Please let me go....please.....please....." The rouge gurgled on his blood as Jin and Taki killed him. A quick stab to the head, nothing special. Their eyes remained cold as they walked lazily around the base, eagerly looking for any survivors to kill. In truth, the pair had done most of the work. Killed 4 rouges, coming out of the battle with barely a scratch. Yep, Jin and Taki were a deadly pair.
A weakened kunoichi was hear running away. The Double Demons grinned. more prey. She would more than likely die anyway, but Jin and Taki wanted this one for themselves. As they came in for the killing strike, though, an object stopped them. Taking a closer look, Jin and Taki realized that Sarukin Genkaku, aka the Golden Monkey, had stopped them. It was a time of war, and seizing was an art the two were a master of. But.....this act that Sarukin performed......why?
"What are you doing?" Sarukin asked, his eyes intent on his partners. They deadlocked... the female escaping by the skin of her teeth, but never resurfacing from the water. Taki's open palm was grabbed at the wrist by Sarukin. "What is wrong with you?" He pushed the pair away, partially disgusted, partially wary.
Taki, blinded by the bloodlust of the moment, roared a response. "Doing what we came to do! I am killing off everyone of them. Them and anyone else who gets in my way." He turned and continued towards the castle, hell bent on finishing what he'd started by killing the youth, the weak, the dying, and even the civilians and prisoners. He wished to leave no one alive, and Jin felt even stronger. But, the damn monkey stood in his way, not budging an inch.
"You can't do that! We did what we came to do.....The rogues here are dead, and we got the money. Let the people here have a second chance!"
Taki scowled. Sarukin was getting annoying, and the twins didn't have time for this. "As i said, I'm killngi every last one of them.....and anyone who gets in my way...." he repeated taking a low stance.
Sarukin stood there a moment, stunned at the brutality of his best friends. "I won't fight you...."
Taki and Jin looked at Sarukin, completely intent on battling. "Then you will die...."

It sure was windy today. Perhaps a metaphor of Jin and Taki? Sarukin pondered this fact for a moment before looking back at the Double Demons. Surely, they would be a tough match. They used genjutsu, like Sarukin, but sound genjutsu. Much more difficult to face. They were skilled in taijutsu as well, as far as the Little Monkey knew, and their ninjutsu skills were no doubt up to par. Yep, a tough match indeed.
Sarukin sighed. He hadn't planned on fighting his two best friends, not now. But, he couldn't see the death of innocents. No, he wouldn't. Especially if he could do something to stop it. He grabbed his nodachi, a good 4 ft in length, and lifted it up to his shoulder. His other hand was still on his hat, and by the look of his face, it seemed he had no intention of fighting. He looked....calm. An unexpected smirk appeared on his face. "Let's not do this, guys. You know where this is headed.....defeat."

XBloodline: Sōma no Kō ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝Jin shared his brothers thoughts... mostly. He wanted to get passed Sarukin and into that castle. He wanted to raid and pillage, nothing else. Don't get him wrong, the whole experience was taxing, and Jin was sure to pray to whoever was listening for forgiveness. But these were rogues, or future rogues, and in his mind they needed to be stomped down. The sounds of the water fall were like music as he stepped clear of his brother. If Sarukin decided to be with his enemies instead of his friends, than he would die in the same sense. He inhaled and mirrored the Great pulse fist stance his brother held, though shifted in the opposite direction. His opponent was fast, and in the same sense just as deadly as he was with genjutsu... even if a bit less erratic. But he was also a toad summoner, meaning he couldn't be bested as easily as Sarukin thought. And there was always that jutsu...

Sarukin grinned as he uttered the lame joke. He thought it was funny, and while the situation at hand wasn't, he couldn't help but make light of it. Mostly to irk the twins. They knew as well as he that he disliked attacking first. In fact, he never attacked first. It just wasn't his style. He'd much rather wait for an attack, go on the defensive a bit, then switch to offense. The large green and white scroll that rested on Sarukin's back loosened a bit, the Little Monkey moving his nodachi at an ever so slight angle to produce such an effect. The wind had stopped for a moment, something Sarukin was grateful of. If the wind occurred, his main strategy, besides genjutsu, would be obscured.
As the waterfall continued to ring in the ears of all three combatants, Sarukin's mind wandered to the good times the three had. Stealing from greedy nobles. Flirting with the village hotties. Skipping out on their meal bills. They were like brothers.....no, they were brothers. It was a sad sight, a family feud in a way. Sarukin's grin, however, did not falter in the least bit. Perhaps this was needed.....perhaps.

Atama Kusari No Jutsu (Chained Mind Technique)
This technique uses intricate hand movements and subtle chakra waves to render the target hypnotized and incapable of movement. However, if the target cannot see the shinobi's hands, the technique will not take hold. This effect will only last as long as the shinobi continues to perform the technique and the target can see the shinobi's hands. In other words, while performing this jutsu, you are helpless, but so is your target. (Similar to the Shadow Bind technique, but this genjutsu uses far less chakra). Ideally, this technique would be used as part of a team strategy.

Sarukinw as the type to be cocky and watch the seals done to see what jutsu was being used. That would be his demise as Taki made random spasmodic movements with his hands. As jin closed into his brother, he had one single second of hesitation. how the heck did we get here he thought as his palm shot towards Sarukin's chest. The vibrations radiating out from it would cause him to have trouble breathing and rattle every rib in his chest. It would cause him to go numb and battle against his own lungs for breath. But this was not all. Assuming his first attack hit, his leg would then fly out, sending a lash of air out at him. The air would pelt him like a whip even if he missed. If it hit, though a lot less severe than if Taki had done it, would leave a slight burn mark around the kidneys, which is where Jin would aim.
((Palm Strikes – The Daidoumyaku style takes its true form at this level. Palm strikes here are a true show of power and skill. Even blocking the attacks now is painful unless done properly. Palm strikes have the power here to put out a candle from 3 yards away. When a target is struck vibrations go through their body from the point of contact and out slightly in a cone, with the main damage being at the center of the cone while damage along the outside of the cone is less severe. These attacks now literally rattle bones causing extreme pain and hit nerves, causing both pain and numbness.
Kicks – The power of the kick has made a small jump, able to blow away candles from 5 feet away. The increased control allows for a greater snapping sound when the kick is performed. The snap of the air is now pronounced enough to lash at a target even if the kick does not connect directly and is more severe if the kick does connect directly.
Defense – The user is now highly proficient in the art at blocking or dodging then counter attacking. Single thrown weapons are now completely useless against the user of this style unless the attacker can catch them by surprise. This is the first level where a user is able to turn aside more than one ranged attack at once but the effectiveness of this ability drops significantly as the number of attacks increase.

The attack would have surely been trouble if it landed. Burn marks, pinched nerves, cracked bones. Yep, the attack surely would have been devastating....if it landed. Jin's fist went directly past Sarukin, not making contact with even his clothing. Instead, it went straight into a cloud of smoke, toxic smoke at that. Sarukin's body was nowhere to be seen. However, his face still stayed smirking, his expression as cocky as his attitude. The smoke engulfed Jin at all sides, undoubtedly poisoning him. The toxic gases continued to surround the ninja at all sides, not only entering his breathing passage, but sticking to his clothes as well. If Jin was somehow able to stop his breathing long enough to escape the smoke, he still had his own scent to worry about.
Sarukin's arms and face stayed floating, his lower body a spiral of toxic smoke. He moved quickly, flying over to Taki at a speed that would make cheetahs blush. His nodachi still hung over his shoulder, his hands flying at an amazing speed. "Hitoiki no Chiri (Breath of Dirt)" With those words, Sarukin grinned, one hand holding his hat, the other on his nodachi. He swung to the left, straight at Taki's arm. He wasn't sure how fast Taki was in terms of reflexes, but considering he was just using the Chained Mind Technique, Sarukin figured it would be a little difficult to counter.

He slapped the water as he entered the fast moving current. ((I am trying to say he jumped into the water just before it falls from the cliff face.)) His clothes were cleaned of the scent, thankfully, and Gamaken protected him in his mouth as the fell. But as he landed, Jin climbed on top. "Destroy that section of the bridge/rock platform!" ((depending on where we are postioned.)) "With gracelessness I shall continue onward!" That is when the large staff came through the ground and the group began to fall. Gamaken snatched the falling Taki with his tounge, and Jin fell in as well, molding with his brother immediately. "Smart move brother, he has to fight us on our terms now." Ryuji stayed in smoke form as his hands moved. They went past in a blur, going through each seal in a split second, showing the true skill and level of Ryuji. He bit his thumb, drawing a bit of blood, before slamming it down on a stray piece of the falling bridge. Thank god he was in his smoke form. There was a large cloud of smoke, and then, as it cleared, 3 figures appeared, two of them small, the rest about Ryuji's side. Ryuji could feel the amount of chakra dwindling by the summon, but inside, he knew it was necessary. "You know, Ryuji-san, Fukudo and Sukudo didn't like the fact that you stole their clouds.....They wanted to fight alongside us." Saryth looked at Ryuji calmly, His expression unamused. He had a sort of annoyed look on his face, but after taking a glance at the Double Demons, he nodded. "Looks like we got ourselves a battle. Enemies, i suppose? You ready?"
"You know, kid, you gotta stop relying on us like this. Fight your own damn battles!" Jima's words slurred as he took another drink of the sake bottle in his hand. As usual, he was drunk. Ryuji, however, grinned at this fact. Jima was useful while drunk, and while he wouldn't follow directions, he would serve as a great partner.
There was one more monkey in the group, though he stayed silent. His presence was known, however, and his intimidating stature was enough to make Ryuji stand tall. Enma just looked at his opponent, and after a slight scoff, he nodded at Ryuji. It was time to go.
The group stayed there a moment, Jima and Saryth on one cloud, Enma and Ryuji on the other. The clouds were floating in the air, completely motionless, when they suddenly charged. Ryuji and Jima charged first, landing atop Gamaken's head. They went straight for Jin and Taki, Ryuji floating in his smoke form towards the Double Demons, Jima stumbling behind. Jima took another drink of his sake before jumping high into the air. He aimed a roundhouse kicked at Jin's face, and with his speed and strength, it was sure to be deadly.
Ryuji, all the while, was swing and slashing at the twins with his nodachi. The blade flowed easily in his hands, and with his Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu usage, it was sure to be deadly. With the combination, the twins would need to figure something out if they wanted to get out alive.

He, however, had a plan of his own now that the enemy were clearly blind sided by the actions of the toad. "Shroud of darkness jutsu!" he called out as the water and area around himself would be encompassed by darkness. Fifty meters high and wide, the shroud would blind all but Gamaken, and the twins. With their actions covered the two would rise to the surface, Gamaken spinning the staff above his head, and would see that the splash was now causing it to rain around them. This would persist only for a few minutes though, specifically until the water had all fallen. Otherwise the water fall would be the only other falling liquid. "I think we need to use it," Jin said as Taki nodded.

Jima grunted as he was pushed back, but the amount of muscle and mass in his body prevented him from going back too far. Simply, he was a big dude. He, however, became alert as Gamaken started jumping. Losing his balance, he fell on the floor. his bottle of alcohol spilled a bit. ".....AAARRRGGH!!!!!" Jima yelled out loud, utterly outraged by the waste of perfectly fine sake. As he was about to charge towards the Double Demons, Ryuji held him back. His expression was calm, not worried in the bit. "We gotta go, Jima. Unless you think you can swim while drunk."
On cue, Saryth and Enma appeared. The group left, then, floating motionless in the clouds, anticipating the next move of their opponents. There was a few moments of waiting, and Ryuji decided now it was best to go over a strategy.
"OK, guys, these two use the Sōma no Kō ability, which allow them to merge with each other. They are weaker separated, though. Now...." Ryuji began to overwork the outline of his plan, and everyone listened. "Well, boys, seems like its time to work. Enma?"
Enma, nodding, jumped up. There was movement coming from his body, and soon, in a matter of seconds, he was an admantine staff, no longer a monkey, but a weapon. Jima caught him, his face showing his disgruntlement. Wasting alcohol was a crime in his book. A serious crime. Ryuji transformed back to normal, no longer in smoke. He could use that technique 3 more times, something he had to plan out perfectly. However, as soon as the group were about to strike, the area became total darkness.
The group of monkeys were puzzled, but Ryuji knew it was a genjutsu. Sighing, he became on guard. "Its a genjutsu guys. Focus!"

He seemed to be strong, strong and impassive, but they had yet to see his skills. "Saryth. How much do you trust the Sarukin?" he asked using his real name as a sign he knew him. "If you have any at all, you are falling into the same trap we have. He only wishes to use your strength until he finds useleessness in you. It is why he has summoned us. He even said before he summoned you that he is going to let you die in order to finish us off. He is using you like a tool. Do not trust him or you will die too! He is but a manipulator, and we merely wish to stop him from killing us. Just look at him, don't you hear him talking? He's saying that he wants you to die in this battle. Just listen. He wants you to be killed for him to kill us! He even has a grave stone for you. Do you not see it in his robe? It's just in front of his abdominals ((considering you look like urahara.))." The jutsu he had used would make these words become absolute truth to Saryth. He would see what Jin had told him. He would hear what Jin had said. As far as Jin could imagine was as far as the jutsu went.

Sarukin sighed as Jin performed the genjutsu on Saryth. They had used this before, many many times. Take out the sight, then go in for the sound techniques. He wasn't sure how Saryth was going to defend this, but he didn't mind it. Saryth, even if he did believe it, couldn't find Sarukin in this darkness. He would just have to dispel the illusion after the fight was over.
Jima and Enma used their other senses to defend themselves. Saryth was capable of handling himself, and if not, he would just have to be summoned back to Monkey Mountain. The pair closed their eyes, listening intently for any sounds of movement. Sarukin, however, decided this jutsu was enough. "Kai!" The darkness vanished from his eyes, and soon, he was looking at two more toads, the Double Demons, and Gamaken. Not the greatest of odds, he must admit. He took a ready stance. "I thought deception wasn't your style...."
