Farrah was a lioness on a mission. Armed with the knowledge that Naim'namir was back and hadn't even thought to come see her, to let her know he'd come home safely and with a banu of his own, she had woken up early in an attempt to hunt down the wayward lion. She'd been worried sick over him! The least he could do was come see her and let her know he was okay! And about that banu. She hadn't heard if she was his Beybanu or not, and the feeling made her anxious.

All at the blame of Naim'namir. She was not a happy lioness this morning.

First, she'd stopped to see Achal and Tsubame, certain that they would know where Naim'namir was. They hadn't seen him that morning, and so she began to hunt through the pride systematically, keeping her eyes peeled for the first sign of that blue coat. Oh, he was gonna get it. He was gonna get it good.

Namir was confused... no, worried... no thats not right..... scared. Namir was scared. And of what one might ask... why of a answer of course.

He was back home, in fact he had been back home for about a month and he had yet to bring himself to ask the one critical question that would make his life all but complete. When he met Rana, Namir felt a kindred soul and was ecstatic when she said she would come back with him but there was still that little part of him that whispered a name. A name that has been haunting him ever since he set paw back onto the prides lands. But he couldn't put it off any longer... he shouldn't... he was going to lose his chance.

With each thought the blue lion paced back and forth, back and forth, on the strip of sand closest to his den. The lake sparkling in the sun but the beauty oblivious to the young lion wondering what he should do about a female... the age old worry of every male no mater the species.

Namir had all the reason in the world to be scared. Farrah meant business. And then, there he was! That awful little lion! Growling low in her throat, angry for the first time she could remember, Farrah picked up her walk to a trot. And then to a run. And finally, she was tackling Namir headon, right into the lake. It served him right, and sure, she got wet in the process, but it felt good to get that out.

"You jerk!"

It was short, sweet, and to the point. And summed up just how Farrah felt. All the frustration, and concern, and worry that he wasn't going to come home, and then he was there for a whole month and didn't even think about coming to see her! It was insulting at the very least and hurtful at the most. A logical part of her was sure he was just helping his banu (beybanu?) settle in, but she didn't feel much like being logical right then.

"Do you have any idea how worried I was?!"

Namir was completly surprised when he got broadsided by a dark blur. The blue lion landed heavily in the lake and came up sputtering and splashing. He wasn't expecting the 'attack' to be one, to his non-fighter mind it was just probably one of his friends playing a prank or one of his family members so when he finally got the water cleared from his face he stood in shock at the view.

Farrah standing there, just as wet as he was, and very obviously pissed. The phrase he heard out in the rouge lands flashed in his mind, 'Hell hath no fury like a female scorned'.

It took him a moment to get over the fact that he was seeing Farrah for the first time in months and she was quite royally pissed. "Farrah... Farrah..." He didnt know what to say to her but knew he had to beg for forgiveness. "Beloved please forgive me. Darling please don't be angry. Oh, gods above, I missed you." Namir wasnt even thinking about what he was saying but was letting it come from his heart.

She had certainly expected Namir to babble apologies and beg forgievness. It was practically written in stone that her being upset would no doubt upset him. However, when faced with Namir's apologies, and how much he missed her, Farrah was caught with two viable options: Stay angry, or let it go. And as much as she wanted to let it go, she felt scorned. A whole month, a whole month he had managed to avoid her, whether on purpose or not. It had hurt. She huffed, and worked her jaw as if she wanted so badly to just rant and rant at him for what he put her through, but the only thing that finally made it out was: "You're still a jerk."

It was said softer, not as angrily. Farrah had missed him terribly, and though the anger was still there, she was more relieved than she thought she'd be at seeing Namir not only home, but alive and well. Letting out a huff of air from her snout, Farrah came forward again, this time to brush her face against Namir's neck and not tackle him into the water again. "I missed you, too." She mumbled, as though it needed to be said. He had been all she thought of in her spare time; how could he think otherwise?

"You had me worried." She growled quietly, leaning back and eying him. "You big doof."

He nodded knowing he was getting off easy. "A jerk. A brute, fool, idiot, nincompoop, ninny, and oaf. All of that and a coward. I just couldn't face you and as the one question I desperately needed answered and terrified of the answer." He wanted, needed, to know if she would be willing to be his but Namir was terrified that she would say no or worse that she would say yes but she was promised to another. Either would kill him slowly and quietly.

He flinched slightly when Farrah stepped forward, expecting to get pushed in the water again but when she brushed her face against his he could only sigh. He knew that by the pride laws he should not be touching Farrah, she was another's for now, but he really didn't care. He would stand in front of the gods themselves if it meant a few more minutes with Farrah nuzzling him.

"For that I am sorry but I had things I had to figure out and get the courage to find out," he said when she growled at him, saddened at her pulling back.

Farrah nodded in agreement at all the things Namir was. Pfft, if he thought for one second she was going to pat his bruised ego, he had another thing coming! Her tail still twitched in agitation, even as her mind began to spin at what he could possibly need to ask that was so important that he'd hidden away like a scared little cub. Of course, The Question was the one he was hoping to hear, but it certainly wasn't a gaurentee, and she didn't want to get her hopes up before her eggs had hatched, or something like that. Her ears perked up a little in curiosity as he spoke, and she smiled quietly.

"Alright." She muttered. It wasn't a 'I forgive you', she wasn't letting him off that easily, but she was willing to listen, at least. She began to walk out of the lake, shaking the water from her fur, and sat down on the bank of the lake, turning to face him pointedly. She certainly wasn't going anywhere now that she had his attention. "So, this... question." She began slowly, lifting an eyebrow at him. She thought that perhaps he would have an easier time asking if she started things for him, and merely waited.

This waiting game wasn't fun at all, but she didn't want to push Namir too quickly. It needed to be dealt with carefully. Had he even spoken to her brother, yet? She doubted it; Ilyas would have said something, or done something, to give himself away. With a tiny snort, she wondered if the question on his maw was one he was ready to ask.

"I've heard your banu is quite pretty." She said as an afterthought, willing to offer a change in topic in the event Namir wasn't ready for the question just yet. "You must be proud." There was the slightest twinge of jealousy, not for his banu but for the simple fact that she was his, and Farrah wasn't yet.

Namir knew he wasn't off the hook, if he was then there was a problem. He loved Farrah for her spirit and doing a stupid thing like worrying her does not mean that he gets a free pass. So it was with a sigh that he stepped out of the water as well, shaking as much water from his fur as possible. As he sat in front of her he thought of the first time he met his teacher, him dripping wet from a impromptu swim in a hot spring and her standing on the side trying not to laugh.

With a smile Namir said, "Your fishing." He knew she wanted to know what he wanted to ask but he also knew that he should ask Farrah's brother first, his mother informed him of the switching of pads and the reason behind it. "But I'll tell you anyway." He owed her that much at least. After taking a deep breath and a moment to calm his mind the young lion blurted out, "I want you." He coughed as he realized what he said and stumbled over his next words trying to fix it. "Well I mean I want to, well, that is. Can I ask your brother for your paw? The thing is I love you Farrah and well I want you to be mine. I love the way you act and are. I love the way you have no issues shoving me in the lake and how you love your family so much. I love everything about you... and well... I cant really think of anything else right now..." He smiled sheepishly and nervously waited to see what she would say.

"Rana? Yeah I suppose she is." Namir hadn't really thought of her as being pretty only that she was so sweet and kind. He really had found a great banu, now if only he could have his beybanu. As he was thinking that a thought bubbled up, one of worry. Would Farrah and Rana get along? Rana knew that Namir was eventually going to take others as his mates but he wasn't sure if she knew just how soon. With some trepidation Namir broached the subject with Farrah, "I know that you would like any others I would chose but I promised Rana that the family we build here really will be a family to her. Would you meet her? At least give her a chance because it would slowly kill me to have two I love hate each other." He hoped that his family, his mates, would become like his mothers... sisters in everything except blood.

Farrah scoffed a little at his claim. Yes, she was absolutely fishing, but she thought it was a bit more tactful than just blurting it out. Nonetheless, she perked up a little when he told her what he wanted. At his blunt request, she raised a paw to her maw to stifle a laugh. She knew what he meant, but between the situation and his reaction and then the way he said it... She couldn't help finding it a little funny! She grinned a little as he spoke, lighting up, and if she had the ability no doubt her skin would be red. Her chest felt like it would explode from her chest.

Sure, she had known this was going to happen eventually, but... To hear the words, even if it wasn't official without Ilyas's approval, it was a far cry different than just knowing that she was going to join Namir's harem eventually. "Yes." She blurted out, leaning forward and butting her head against his shoulder. "I'm still mad at you, but yes. I want to join your harem." She wanted to join right now. She knew it was important to have Ilyas's permission, though, and didn't say such. But to join at all... She was thrilled. "But if you ever make me worry like that, I'm going to shove you into the lake again." She grinned a little, leaning back happily. She felt ready to burst at the seams, excitement and happiness rolling around in her stomach. She was finally joining a lion's harem as a proper banu, and not a sibling or a daughter. And more importantly, it was her Namir's harem.

She blinked at the mention of Rana, and laughed quietly, nodding. "Of course, Namir. I would love to meet Rana." She said with a smile. "I'm looking forward to seeing her for my own eyes. If she's as pretty as I've heard, I'll have to fight for your attention." She said with a bit of sarcasm in her voice, smirking a little. She wasn't jealous, now that Namir had mentioned his intentions. If anything, she was excited to meet her new sister. "I'd love to introduce her to my family, as well, if she would like." Meeting her side of the family would, she hoped, make Rana feel even more at home, knowing she had such a large family for support now that Rana was Namir's.

Namir breathed a sigh of release and laughed. "I would expect nothing less from you Farrah." She had said yes. It was true Namir still had to go to Ilyas to get permission but he also knew that if Farrah approved then it was all but given. Then again Namir had never really dealt with Ilyas or even Faz so there was still a grain of worry buried deep in him.

Namir smiled along with Farrah. He was sure that his two loves would get along. "Believe me you will never have to fight for my attention. Besides I have a feeling if you did it would be by pushing me in the lake again." His smile was wide and full of laughter. Gods how he missed her. "You would have to ask her. I think that she would like to but first I want to introduce her to my folks. I held off to give her some time to adjust before - " Namir just trailed off not really sure how to end his sentence. "I hope to do that in the next few days. But we, or you if you would rather, can talk to her about meeting your family too."

Farrah couldn't stop herself from smiling at the laugh, and leaned forward, butting her head against his shoulder fondly. She couldn't wait to speak to Ilyas, though she knew already that she would allow Namir to speak to him first. There would certainly be questions; she couldn't stop that from happening no matter which way this was handled. But her happiness meant more to Ilyas than a technicality in the rules, didn't it?

She grinned a little at his reassurance, and she nodded with a tiny smirk. "I look forward to meeting Rana." She said, lighting up a little. It would be nice to hear her stories of the rogue lands. It was a place Farrah had never gone to nor had she ever had the urge to wander into them for much more than hunting along the edge of the pride. Sometimes it was necessary, but she never left the pride without someone watching.

"Of course." She said in the absence as he trailed off, smiling a little. "For now, though." She said, glancing towards the darkening sky. "I should return home." She grinned a little. "Don't hold off too long on speaking to my brother." The sooner she could join Namir, the happier she would be. Leaning forward again to brush against the male in a fond manner that she would have never had the courage to do before, Farrah rose and began to trot back to the den, happier than she had been in months.
