Vunjififaudi carefully moved across the lands. He didn't like trespassing, but that was hard sometimes. So much territory was claimed and he just couldn't avoid them all. He was tired though, having spent all night traveling through lands that were claimed.
It frightened him like no other. He gave a shuttered sigh of relief after he exited the pride lands with no trouble. He wandered as far as his feet would take him before finally settling at the base of a tree - no leopards had claimed this one, his nose had told him. His frame sagged with clear relief.
Depite being tired, however, he remained awake. His body had not yet accepted he was safe, thus, he remained awake.

Ameretat was on her own again, encounter after encounter she had only run into Abiria more than once, she felt a certain attachment to him, a longing that dwelled deep within her. SHe did not question this and rather ignored it. The was not young, it had hit well deep into the night, the sun was brewing it's first rays just over the horizon.
She was exhausted, her body craved sleep and thsu she blindly followed her feet towards a grouping of trees that seemed unoccupied at first glance, but she hadn't yet smelled the occupant just out of her eye sight.

Fau decided that he was right not to sleep when a figure began approaching his cluster of trees. He crouched down, almost as if he was shying away. However, he gave a small warning snarl, just in case the new figure was violent.
If the newcomer was, at least he was far enough away to flee.

Ameretat still hadn't taken notice to the other being there, the trees offered a haven for now, a haven she hadn't expected to find at all. Her mood was increasing greatly, hitting unusual peaks of joy that couldn't be disrupted. Her nose took it's time warning her, in fact she only began smelling the other when she laid down and yawned softly. That sharp intake of breath was what grabbed her. The other was male, a feline, but she couldn't pinpoint anything deep than that.
"Whose there..?" She asked sternly, ears flicking back, tail flicking.

Fau shifted in his spot. "I could ask you the same," he sputtered out hesitantly. His insides were quivering violently, but on the outside he was barely shaking at all. He wanted to flee, but he was exhausted. If the newcoming proved to be nice, he would remain.
He inched forwards towards the figure - a lioness? He hesitated, shrinking back a tiny bit and ducking his head to hopefully show he wasn't a threat.

She saw him shrink, she almost let out an audible giggle, but held that back. In all her travels she found that males disliked being laughed at, regardless if they were the ones shrinking back in fear. Instead Ameretat chose to answer. "Well, it's been a long night of traveling from no where to no where, and so before day break i thought I'd get just a little cat nap in." Her eye's were certainly about to close, proving the truth.
"So, now ill you get your tail out from between your legs and give a lady an answer?" She fought herself to not say that, but it was harder than it looked. She was a little over dramatic though, only judging based on his backing away, she could not see the tiny bit of shaking, nor did she look for any further fearful appearance.

The splotchy lion gave a breath of relief, quite visibly relaxing. He still hesitated, but moved closer, sitting down. He tilted his head. "Ah, Vunjififaudi, Fau for short though," he tilted his head. He was quite well aware that his name could be a mouthful, especially when tired.
If fact, he stumbled a bit over his own name when he spoke it at this moment, for he was tired himself.

She blinked for a moment, had he just stuttered? What was that? Deciding that it wasn't worth arguing about she nodded lightly. "Ameretat is my name, and right now you've occupied the only trees that look comfortabel enough to sleep at. Would you mind the company for a little bit? At least until I fall asleep." She asked and brought herself clsoer to the ground, laying down.
