Physical Description: Slightly tanned, meaning more tanned than the average asian but still pretty light. His hair is black and spiky but it is not long, in fact, in each spike is only about two inches long. His eyes are dark brown to an almost black color which can sometimes be strange to look at. He stands at 6' 2" and weighs about 190 lbs. However, that's not to say he's fat, in fact, it's quite the opposite. He is fairly well toned but does not have massive biceps or the like. He usually wears samurai robes, which are black with white lining, and has medical wrappings around his waist, wrists, and ankles. Aside from that, he usually wears a red scarf that trails behind him and comes up to his nose but leaves a good few inches between it and his face. Lastly, he has a tattoo of a dragon winding up his right arm.
Personality: Most of the time he tries to be serious and get the job done, because of this he is also often viewed as cold and unwelcoming. However, he can be quite friendly towards people he likes and towards people he think he may like. He also tries to lighten up a lot by making jokes, most of the time they aren't very good, though. With that being said, he's a natural leader and often shows incredible amounts of courage in difficult situations. Though, most of the time he tries to work alone, he'll often come to the aid of his friends and/or squad when necessary. In battle he is very brave and also serious about getting the job done. When they get back to the station, though, he tries to lighten up and relax with the rest of the team. Despite his outward appearance, he is quite kind and is a good friend to have once you get to know him. Often, when he's frightened or the like he'll take on an appearance of being shocked as though someone had told him the world was ending and he didn't believe it.He doesn't like to approach people as well so he usually lets them approach him instead.
Zanpakutou:
Zanpakutou Spirit: A beautiful girl who's about Seiji's age. She has sleek, long black hair and piercing blue eyes. She is rather thin and stands about 5' 5" in height. She wears a small black kimono as well and often acts as a mentor as well as support and encouragement for Seiji. She is kind and understanding for the most part but sometimes pushes Seiji in the direction that she wants him to go. Often she also takes on the more emotional side of Seiji since he doesn't potray his emotions as much as he should.
Inner World: It's a small forest that leads into a shoreline to the ocean. It is very quiet, except for the sounds of nature.(waves crashing and birds chirping) It is usually brightly light but is subject to change depending on the mood of the girl. (I.E. sad=rain, mad=lightning/stormy, happy=sunny, etc.) There is also a small wooden shack where Seiji can usually find the girl living, it's quiant and doesn't really have much other than a bed and a stove with a singular window towards the back of it and light coming from the fireplace at night.
Sealed Form: An elogantly long blade that Seiji keeps on his back. The blade gracefully changes from a black color at the hilt to a blood red color at the point. The blade itself is thin in terms of diameter but pretty average in terms of depth, it is meant to cut quickly and cleanly rather than get stuck. The sword also has three large silver rings through it towards the point of the blade which is meant to help disarm opponents.The guard is gold in color as well as being a six-pointed star with a eloquent design of a pheonix on it. The handle is completely black except for the image of the dragon tattoo (which is gold) that Seiji has on his arm as well. The hilt is much like that of a standard katana, it is also gold like the guard but on the bottom it has two Japanese characters "希望" or "Hope" in English.

Shikai Description: Upon the completion of the release phrase, a large gust of wind swirls around Seiji, conceiling him momentarily as the Zanpakutou changes. The Zanpakutou then becomes a long lance with a black steel pole that connects it to a silvery blade that has a gold trim and gold rings on it. There is one of these on both ends and they face opposite directions. There is also a long red ribbon that extends and connects on both sides. It is relatively long, doubling the size of what it originally was before. There is a gold ring about halfway on the pole so the ends can be seperated and used as two weapons, if needed and still remain connected by the red ribbon.
Shikai Powers/Attacks: Seiji gains the ability to have wings created purely of wind appear on his back, they are pheonix-like in nature and are quiet elegant.

Change the seas and the sky and bring them to their final judgment. Angel of Redemption!")
Bankai Description: Changes into a pair of dual-pronged katanas which are much like the original sealed for save for the fact that they're all gold and silver. The blade, naturally, is silver but is outlined with gold. The hilt and guard on the sword is gold as but the dragon symbols are silver. At the end of each sword is a red ribbon with three large black rings at the end of each. The blades are quite long as well and nearly double the size of his shikai but they can be retracted somewhat. Upon finishing the release of the Zanpakutou a large whirlwind surrounds Seiji and blocks him from site, allowing the weapons and armor to appear on him. Upon finishing, the whirlwind dissipates outwards with tremendous force capable of knocking down anything in the immediate area. Next, Seiji also gets a touch-up to his robes which get a light set of armor added to them. (Armor is all black save for what connects them which is red). Finally, from the remnants of the whirlwind, a wind pheonix forms behind Seiji which is a blueish-white color and has glowing red eyes. It is a traditional style pheonix from Asia. It follows Seiji's orders and is purely under his control, however, there are setbacks to it such as it's weak to fire-based attacks.

Skills: Knows Kendo and Kung Fu, black belt in Kung Fu and an 7-dan in Kendo. He knows these skills because he had grown up in a family that promoted not only mental awareness but physical awareness as well. Mostly he honed these skills for survival in the Rukon district.

Biography/History:
In life, Seiji was a normal teenage boy who was striving to do his best in school and in athletics. His parents constantly pushed him to do better and better so he constantly strived for more as well, which took it's toll on him sometimes. He didn't have many friends since he tended to keep to himself for the most part which also led to some hard times in his life. His parents had signed him up for Kendo and Kung Fu when he was quite young, in addition to the school work that he already had to complete. For a few years this was going great, but by the time he turned 16, things started to take a turn for the worse. His grades started to slip and his performance in his martial arts began to drop as well. His parents blamed it on "video games" which was what his few friends had recently introduced to him which was constantly absorbing his time now. As a result, they took away all of his electronics until he could manage to bring his performance up. In his fury, Seiji left his house and went to one of the more dangerous parts of the small town he lived in. This is where he died. Unfortunately, he didn't realize he was disturbing a pair of paranoid gangsters who were currently making a deal of some sort. As a result, he was shot and killed. Unfortunately, it was a small funeral and only a handful of guests had even bothered to show up. In the meantime, Seiji was getting used to his new life in the Rukon District of Soul Society. He was by himself, for the most part and relied on his martial arts skills that he learned in life to help him scrap by. He wasn't used to the sort of lifestyle that was required of him and often found himself in trouble. Fortunately, though, he managed to get used to the routine after a few months of living there. One day, when stealing some water from a local shop, a Soul Reaper happened upon the shopkeeper punishing Seiji rather violently and immediately called for it to stop. The shopkeeper was rather infuriated and let the Soul Reaper take Seiji. Seiji didn't really know what to do, he was shy and ashamed and now he felt like it was the end of his days in Soul Society too after only being there for about a year. However, that was not what the Soul Reaper had intended. She, instead, helped train him a bit in etiquette as well as some other skills he would need at the Soul Reaper Academy. As a sidenote, Seiji had observed her using a technique that allowed her to be able to move about faster than he could follow her. She promised him that, if he were to graduate from the acadamy and successfully join a squad, she would teach him to use the technique. Well, Seiji did just that and he finished the academy after ten years of training. However, the Soul Reaper had a mission to go off on in the human world which required her to leave Sereitei for a long period of time, she couldn't tell him how long. So, as a parting gift, she said that she'd teach him the technique when she got back. She had also given him a Jade Necklace which she claimed to have healing powers (since she was a healer) as well as it was able to bring him good luck. Seiji promised to always keep it with him as a memory of her as he continued on in life until her return. It was a sad good-bye for Seiji, he had never really gotten close to another person like he did with that particular Soul Reaper and, she never returned. While she was away, however, he constantly trained to hone the skill that she had taught him and figured it would look good for when he actually did apply to be apart of a squad. He figures that now is the time that his skills are honed to their peak and if any squad were to accept him, he needed to start looking right away. Which is where his current story is at.
