She had only recently been un-grounded after revealing to her parents that she was, in fact, a costumed vigilante. They'd taken it fairly well, and decided they wanted to know as little as they could; only what they had to know, was the exact guideline laid out. They wanted to know when she was going out on patrol. She had agreed; so had Grayson.

Then, the morning after, they'd grounded her for three nights. It was a mark of her respect for them that she obeyed; it was a mark of their respect for her that they didn't check.

Her honor was, she reflected as she dropped off a rooftop to the ground, one of her most prized possessions.

The outdoors was bitterly cold, but at least the wind was fairly weak this evening; the snow dancers she'd spotted seemed fairly absent, too. This tree-lined avenue in the college district was very calm, for Destiny City after midnight. Though, she could hear a second set of footsteps. They were heavier than the Zodiac Captain's, and... well, it was puzzling. Hardly anyone came around here, as far as she knew.
