Parents Alexander and Enera Yvette, or known as mom and dad to Aludra, walked into the chamber just to the left of the Hall where they were told to wait for their child. They had traveled a long way to see their daughter compete in the final Tri-Wizard task and they couldnt be more proud, even Enera who was skeptical of her daughters schooling. "You would think that they would have the children waiting in here for us." she muttered slowly. Her english wasnt very good and she had a thick Russian accent, but she didnt know the basics. Alexander patted his wife on the shoulder. "I'm sure she's just off preparing for her task tonight, I've read its a very dangerous competition! I would have done anything to see her battle that troll..." He went off into another one of his wild daydreams about the wizarding world. As a muggle, he was fasinated by everything that had to do with magic. His wife, Enera, was a witch so she didnt have the freakish tendancy to swoon over a spell. She rolled her eyes and walked over to a corner in the room. The fire that was going was making the room entirely too hot, and when she got hot, she was irritable.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra rushed into the chamber where the parents day would be held, scared she mad missed it. She had lost track of time when she was reading over spells in her common room to prepare herself for the task tonight. She looked around the room and saw her father examineing the portraits on the wall, having a intellectual conversation with them while her mother was huddled into a corner, most likely frustrated. "Hi mom, hi dad. Sorry to keep you both waiting so long, I was trying to memorize some charms for tonight." she said, walking over to her dad to give him a hug. She wrapped her arms around his middle. "Did you both have a nice trip?" ...6th Year Slytherin

Munching on the last bit of toast from breakfast I entered the meeting chamber just off from the Great Hall where the Champions parents where suppose to be waiting to greet them. Heading inside I saw Aludra standing on the other side of the room, with her mom and dad. I scowled a little when i saw the irritated look on her mothers face, but that was soon replace by a cheerful grin when I saw the look of her dad's face as he surveyed the room. He was in a deep conversation with the room's portraits and seemed to be having a wonderful time.
I didn't want to be rude and just butt right into her conversation with her parents so I just walked up behind Aludra and stop short, waiting for her to notice that I was there.

Parents Alexander gave a shout of joy and engulfed his daughter in a hug. It had been a long time since he had seen her properly. "My little Reptilian princess! I was worried you had forgotten we were going to come see you! Now, I have a few questions for you about these paintings... this rude man over here has quite the mouth on him. How do they move and talk? Its absolutely fasinating. And what exactly is the function of them?" He looked admiringly at the paintings as Enera shook her head in displeasure. Why was he even questioning her about something as trivial as moving paintings? That was as natural as a duck swimming in a pond or the moon setting in the sky. She moved from her place against the wall and made her way over to her husband and daughter. "Alex leave her alone, she just got in and does not need to answer trivia for you." She let out a proud smiled as she ran her hand over Aludra's hair. Having a daughter in the Triwizard was what she had dreamed of for years. It would mean the greatest honor for the family name. "Hello my Champion. I hope you have been studying hard for your last task, not that you need it.." she said rather slow. Enera looked at the boy that had just entered and gave him a mimicing look. He must be one of the other Champions that compete against Aludra. "The other contestants are no match for you." Alexander heard his wifes comment and frowned. "Now, sweetness, I dont think you should... Oh hello there! You must be another Champion and wizard!" He shouted in glee as he saw a young man standing just a few feet away from them. He walked over to him and held out his hand in a polite gesture. "How do you do? I'm Alexander Yvette and this is my darling wife, Enera." Enera lazily waved her hand in an elegant hello. "And you must already know our daughter, Aludra."

No I would not rise to comments no, I would show her that I was in complete control here. Smiling I took his hand and gave it a firm shake, "Oh hello Mr. Yvette, Mrs. Yvette." I said giving her a polite bow of my head. Grinning at Aludra, I turned to face her dad once more and said, "Oh yes I know Aludra, she is an excellent student, and a fine competition in the tournament." Seeing as this moment was inevitable I looked over at Aludra for some mental support and I finally said, "So sorry I'm being rude I haven't introduced myself to you yet...I'm Kenneth Reynolds."

Parents ”Kenneth, that little Gryffindor boy? Well, at least your not as scrawny and dimwitted as I pictured you were. You have got some muscle on you, and a cute face. Every bit as handsome as Vladimir, it is a shame he doesn’t have Vlady‘s smarts.” Enera smiled as she went back over to her corner of the room. “The journey was exhausting seeing as your father couldnt travel by magical means, I‘ll just rest over here my daughter.” Alex rolled his eyes so that his wife couldn’t see and shook his head. “Pay no mind to her, shes just irritable because we traveled by train. So! Your Kenneth, I must save I‘ve heard some marvelous things about you my boy! Becoming an Auror soon I hear? Fantastic. Aludra is thinking to become one. Either that or a Vet I always suggest. Her animal room back at the house is growing everyday she does. Snakes and other animals… I‘ve heard you’re a gamer too! I‘m not too bad myself. I insist you come over one holiday and I challenge you to a night of game, if the wife and child will have it that is.” Alex shook his hand another time more warmly then before. “So your parents must be coming too? I don’t see them around yet…”

Aludra Yvette... Aludra smiled a bit at her mothers response to Kenneth. It could have been a lot worse, so she would have to thank her later. Her dad was jabbering away to him as he usually did, it was supprising he even took a breath at all. “I‘m sure their just running a little late. This is a very hectic day dad.” she said for Kenneth, she knew how frightening it must be talking to your girlfriends parents. Little? Not having the smarts of Vladimir aye, at least I’m not a sexy pig or someone who would use her daughter as a means to pay debits, all this I thought in my mind as Aludra’s mother addressed me, I narrowed my eyes at her when she turned and sat down on the nearby couch. The urge to shout at this woman was slowly building up inside. If Aludra hadn’t come over and taken my hand I would have started right then and there. Squeezing Aludra’s hand in return I left my full attention on her father. “I’ll not to Mr. Yvette, blushing slightly at all the praise I said, “Well I do hope she hasn’t told you everything or we won’t have anything to talk about while I beat you pants off in some call of duty or whatever other game you like to play,” I said jest fully trying my best to break the ice even further. “And it’s true as soon as the year is over I’ll start my Auror training. I’m excited and nervous all at the same time, plus a little sad since I won’t be able to see Aludra as much, until that training is complete. Your daughter is quite important to me.” Wondering if this was the best time for this talk or not I quickly changed subjects. “Ah yes my parents Aludra is right, they sent me an owl this morning telling me they’d be a little late, some sorta discovery at a dig and they had to make sure it was taken care of before heading up to the Castle.”

Aludra Yvette... She grinned at how well her dad and boyfriend were getting along and decided that she would go cheer up her mother, and give her a good telling off about her comments. “If you two will excuse me, I think I‘ll catch up on some gossip with mom.” Aludra leaned over and pecked Kenneth on the cheek, not knowing if that was the right thing ti do in front of her dad. She gave her father a little hug before going and sitting next to her mom on the couch, talking in rapid Russian. ...6th Year Slytherin

Parents Alexander rubbed his chin a moment and said, “Dig, eh. They wouldn’t happen to be archeologists would they? I havent heard of any witch or wizard ever being one! But then again your parents wouldn’t need to be with magic blood, its amazing the things you can learn from a few books.” He smiled with a tinkle in his eye. It had been awhile since he went to a wizard library, maybe he would visit the one here before leaving. “And if you ever beat me in Call of Duty, I would eat my underwear proudly.”

A warm feeling spread down my body from the location of Aludra light kiss, and I watched her walk away toward her mother and immediately started talking in Russian. Not to self start to learn Russian. Turning my attention back to her father I continued to chat with him about various subjects always happy to stop and explain any magical based question’s he had. “Yes my parts would fall under the term archeologists; they study ancient wizard sites in an effort to unlock magic that might have been forgotten.” We must have chatted for awhile I hadn’t noticed all the time that had gone by, I was only made aware when I heard the sound of dragon leather boots on stone. Turning around I saw my parents and my sister walking into the room.
Turning to Aludra’s father I said, “Excuse me Mr. Yvette, my parents just arrived. Giving him a nod I turned and walked over to meet my parents halfway across the room. Looking down at my sister I said, “So looks like you get an early peek at the castle aye.”
Katie giggled and said, “HA, I sure do.” Katie looked around the room in awe, with the same face Aludra’s father had earlier.
I gave her a smile and looked at my parents; they were still wearing their archeology outfits. Worn dragon leather boots, loose cloth pants and shirt, each containing various pockets to store their equipment. The robes had the tell-tell sign of wear and tear, and where stain the various different colors of dirt from the many digs they had been to. They didn’t mind there worn looking attire Malcolm and Maria Reynolds full attention was on their son, they couldn’t be more proud of him. “Sorry if where a little late Ken,” my dad started “we got held up with a new discovery while on the latest dig that shows some promise, and we had to make sure it was taken care of before we left.” My Mom interjected “I hope you not upset with us. Are you?”
Giving my mom a reassuring smile I said, “Na I’m not mad, I understand that your work has great potential of unlocking the magical secrets of the past, I knew you’d get here when you could.” I stared to chat with my parents about the new discovery they had uncovered when I realized I should introduce them to Aludra’s parents as well. “Hey Mom, Dad, see the people over in the corner that’s Aludra Mr. and Mrs. Yvette Aludra’s parents, and then girl sitting there in the middle,” with a simile forming across my face, “that’s Aludra. Here let me introduce you properly. “
Walking over to the far corner with my parents and sister trailing me I cleared my throat to get their attention, “Er sorry to interrupt I wanted to introduce my parents and sister. Mom and Dad, and Katie this is Mr. Alexandra Yvette and Mrs Enera Yvette, and that beautiful person in the middle is Aludra. Aludra, Mr. and Mrs. Yvette allow me to introduce Mr. Malcolm and Mrs. Maria Reynolds, the little one there is my sister Katie.”

Parents Alexander nodded his head in an understanding way, the boy needed to be with his parents. “Say no more son, go ahead.” he waved. Alex had his own family to get back to, though he was fairly poor at Russian. He made a silent mental note to improve on the language so better understand his wife‘s cunning schemes. It was only a few moments from when he sat down on the other side of Aludra when Kenneth and his parents were walking up to greet them. He became excited at the prospect of meeting 4 witches and wizards in one day! It was simply mind-blowing to him. Hello Mr and Mrs. Reynolds! Its great to finally meet you two in the flesh.”
While Alexander continued with his overly enthusiastic hello, Enera surveyed their outfits with amusement. How someone with magical blood in them could go anywhere dressed like that was beyond her. Quite the example they set for their son, but none the less she did respect hard working folk. “Hello, it is a pleasure to meet you. It seems that my daughter has taken a liking to your son. I hope to see it flourish into something more beautiful as time passes.” She smiled a sweet smile, knowing how to choose her words carefully. This wasn’t her playing field, she would wait until they were on her turf to get messy.
“Yes, I do hope it blossoms into something spectacular, but in order for that to happen, the adults have to be out of the way don’t they honey?” he winked over in Aludra‘s direction knowningly.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra smiled nervously seeing Kenneth and his family approaching them, now she knew how he felt when facing her mother and father. “Hi, I‘ve heard such wonderful things about all of you.” she said, a hint of nerves in her voice. “Even you Katie, Kenneth says your going to be coming to Hogwarts next year. I‘ll still be here too.” Aludra smiled at the little girl, trying to befriend her. If she and Kenneth were going to have a healthy relationship it was necessary she liked his family and they liked her.
She slapped her hand to her forhead when her father winked at her. Sometimes he knew just what to say to get her all up in a huff. “Yes dad, thats exactly how its going to happen.” she sighed. She figured that now would be the best time to get her parents out of here before they started any more trouble then could be expected, but to be polite she would let Kenneth‘s parents speak first. ...6th Year Slytherin
