He died about 990 (well, in a few days, 991) years ago razz Also, the settlers that settled in the area cause of his expeditions (In Newfoundland) did not last, and died out cause of various reasons... <_< .. :p so I find that rather unbelievable! I'm sorry XD
EDIT: however.. if you're an Icelander, I am much more likely to believe you wink He has no descendants in the US. or Canada for that matter. Unless he got some in Iceland that moved to the US recently (that is, about 2/300-ish years ago).

Unless he got some in Iceland that moved to the US recently (that is, about 2/300-ish years ago). yep one of my major ancestors is from iceland immigrated here (well not here exactly)
