He died about 990 (well, in a few days, 991) years ago razz Also, the settlers that settled in the area cause of his expeditions (In Newfoundland) did not last, and died out cause of various reasons... <_< .. :p so I find that rather unbelievable! I'm sorry XD
EDIT: however.. if you're an Icelander, I am much more likely to believe you wink He has no descendants in the US. or Canada for that matter. Unless he got some in Iceland that moved to the US recently (that is, about 2/300-ish years ago).

redface All i know is that it has been my family has thought it to be true for at least five generations and i wouldn't blamed you if you said that i wish i could like take a blood test or something to prove whether or not it is true
