So, I'm picking up mellophone so I can do corps.
But playing it ruins my flute embouchure (and picc embouchure even more so...).
Does anyone have any exercises or advice for how to play flute normally again after playing mellophone (or brass in general)? It would be much appreciated. heart

generally they suggest not switching between woddwinds and brass. Simple solution. Stay on mello cuz brass is bad@$$. wink nah j/k. i dont really know any flute excercises cuz im a mello player....but maybe you could play a percussion instrument in corps....?

I've gotten pretty used to it by now. Surprisingly, mello doesn't screw up my flute embouchure as badly as I thought it would, and since I make the switch frequently, it's not so bad. :]
